For me, he’s always had a touch of Graham Roberts about him. Never bottles it (neither do his under garments).

I realise this is probably old news but just watched the episode of the Amazon documentary where Dier clatters Sonny in training ?

Great performance last night and loved his interview afterwards when he was laughing about having to run off.

The toilet issue was probably just one of those things that can happen if you play too many games in a short space of time, but it's worth mentioning that one of the early signs of Covid can be stomach cramps/diarrhoea. With all the testing around Premier League players it's probably not that, but it is a bit of a coincidence that something unusual like this happened now.

Great cross field ball to Sergio for the goal, can see this being a profitable play through the season.

Eric Dier - there should be more humans like you. From the vision I saw first person to go to Mount. Stepped up and lead by example taking the opening shot under pressure. All the shit from the VAR farce. This guy is a leader of men. Well done sir. COYS

It's s funny because if Hudson-Odoi buried his chance whilst Dier was taking a shit the tone and the conversation would be very different.

Don't start, I can imagine the arguments now.

Enough plonkers around that someone would say "He should have shit himself for the team!"

Assists are funny things
A player can make a brilliant 50 yard pass to a striker, giving an easy chance which he misses with a dreadful shot....no assist
A player can square a ball to a striker a few feet away.He taps the ball in....an assist.

I see we’re on the other side of the pendulum now and Dier is Maldini’s second coming again. I mean hey, every player has one season where everything finally comes togetwher. Rose had two/ three. Maybe we’ll get that out of Eric.

Dier real leader of men . I have been championing him since he switched to centre half and he is I am sure one of the first names on the team sheet .

My support for this man has never waivered, not once.
Has been my favourite spurs player for a long time.

not the most glamorous player, but my god does this fella play with fire in his belly.

great seeing him play so regular now, proper leader, fierce competitor and absolute unit on the pitch.
