Doesn't that tell you all you need to know about the standard of that league?Would not be surprised to see him called back up to the National team. His form has been pretty good for the last few games and he's now pushing his way in front of Bayern's regular starters.
Possibly, could be a number of other reasons why he's playing well though.Doesn't that tell you all you need to know about the standard of that league?

Maybe. I'm not saying he is in anyway the answer for England, just that I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a call up.And then the form falls off a cliff.
Was only 18 months ago that he did the same here. He’s not a bad player, certainly nowhere near as bad as he’s made out to be on here.Doesn't that tell you all you need to know about the standard of that league?
I think some honestly believe/d that he is the Championship level player that they were touting him as. Meanwhile, he's starting CL games for Bayen MunichWas only 18 months ago that he did the same here. He’s not a bad player, certainly nowhere near as bad as he’s made out to be on here.
He's just not an adaptable player for me. In the right system with the right players around him he is very effective which is why he's currently doing well. In the wrong system and tactics he's a liability.I think some honestly believe/d that he is the Championship level player that they were touting him as. Isn't this a bit revisionist? He's played in a deep-lying back 3 and 4 with 2 DMs sitting in front and he still just seemed to switch off far too often. Yes he can look very good and has many skills managers would like but when you're limited in what systems you can play in AND have a tendency to lose focus it isn't a great combo. Maybe being at a club like Bayern will help with the focus part for a bit but I think a lot of the criticism he gets is balanced and fair. He's just not an adaptable player for me. Eric Dier on Ange Postecoglou:
“I didn’t take it personally, him not playing me. If he doesn’t like me, it’s not a problem for me. Lots of people won’t like me, lots of people like me, it’s irrelevant. I try to look at it through my own point of view: do I like the manager, for who he is as a person, and the way he is as a coach? It doesn’t matter to me if I’m playing or not. And I really, really enjoyed working under him, and I learned a hell of a lot. I’d love to sit down and talk to him now. I have so many questions — about the way he does certain things and why he does them. Hopefully, one day, I’ll be able to.”
Haven't finished watching it, but seems an interesting interview:
