Don't think anyone has really written him off. Hopefully he had just turned the corner with his masterful 25 minutes performance tonight.

...masterful as always with inferior opposition. In the prem is where it must be done.

And yet our players with more Premier League experience did oh so well against the same opposition.

If Real Madrid play in Limassol are disjointed and Ronaldo has an off game no one in their right mind is going to be saying they have never played well in La Liga, however if Ronaldo only did it against inferior opposition........... What does what your saying have to do with it?

Ronaldo had a decent run of games upon arrival though, off the back of almost 200 games for Man Utd. Plus our team had an off game, not just one player. Do I need to point out the differences? It's not like the Premier League is that special, Lamela will be fine.
