We haven’t seen the best of Erik yet, it’s all going to come together over next season and we’ll have a proper player.

I like Lamela. True he doesn't always deliver (even I'll admit that's an understatement) but he's clearly got the ability to be a top player. If Poch can get that out of him we could have a superstar on our hands. It's a big if but well worth the risk I think.

Not so sure about the close control mentioned earlier - but he has a wonderful instinctive pass in him, shows a fantastic attitude on the pitch and is certainly happy to get stuck in. No one is quite sure what he is going to do. Wonderful entertaining player!

If he avoids any mysteriously long injuries and contributes directly to 10+ goals a season, maybe, just maybe, the haters won't hate.
They weren't mysteriously long, they were not straightforward, and the reason they took long to deal with was down to the sensible approach from Spurs medical staff. Before his hip injury, he had better assist stats than Eriksen. The haters are morons, a bunch of gammons.
