It just says No CI module on the ESPN channel so it seems not.

Yeah not on Freeview, although possibly if you had top-up TV and didn't subscribe to ESPN it'd work, but haven't got a module or card.

It's only free on Sky, Virgin, Talk Talk and UPC (Ireland).
