I don't want either of those teams to win those trophies, but if they did it would be truly hilarious if Chelsea finished above Liverpool in fourth and missed out on the CL. Gotta love that karma.

No but we will be made to play in the Skegness Charity Cod & Haddock Cup (but not until round of 36). We will have a bye until then for finishing fourth (4th) in the Premier League. (EPL).

5 teams is the maximum allowed from each country under the latest rules ... I believe ... so in this scenario we are still OK. What would have been a problem is if say Chelsea had still been in the CL and gone on to win it then I don't know how out of six teams they allocate five places but suspect that the 4th place team would lose out
