Just watching the Ajax players getting their medals and they really are young kids, they look like the youth team.

A team who spends about £500 million in 2/3 years shouldn't be scraping a Europa league win. They should be winning leagues and champions leagues. This Man U team are well below par.

There is no better manager for executing a one off tactical game plan.

Allardyce and Pulis have the same styles, get good results and big scalps with a fraction of the quality and resources. Mourinho is no better a tactician than those two imo, he's just got the players to get away with these plans most of the time. A jammy first goal and park the bus against a development team. Nothing awe-inspiring about that.

Coverage of this game has been a disgrace. Too much sanctimonious linking with the attack. It's only a game of football vs 20+ kids blown apart by a maniac.
Totally agree, too many times they've said 'the city need this', like this game is any remote consolation to the victims family..

My bad, I mean Southampton then, the next placing in the league after the last qualifying team.. Do they?

Nah. They would have if they won the League Cup but 8th doesn't get a Europa place unless one of the teams who finished outside the top four wins the Champions League.

Cost of starting XI’s: Ajax - £15m Manchester United - £257m. Yet Mourinho is happy to sit deep and let them dominate the play and just hit route one into Fellaini. Embarrassing.

Unfortunately, that's what football has become. The winning game isn't the beautiful game. The days of dominating the midfield and possession meaning a likely win are long gone. At least we're sticking to our club philosophy of playing attractive football. Whilst I'm envious of utds trophies this year I also watch all the games and I know that I've had a lot more fun watching us than their fans have watching that dross.

The entertainment is worth more than a trophy to me because I give up 90 - 180 minutes of my life watching us every week.

The club and fans value the silverware but I value the enjoyment. Ideally I'd like both but if I had to pick one I'd pick watching good football.

God I despise Mourinho - giving it the big man after spending £150m and winning a cup he previously said he'd be embarrassed to be in.
