The fact is the sports scientists have been saying for some time now that the human body needs 72 hours to recover from a game of football, and Europa League does not give players the recovery time unless a team is selected to play a Monday night televised match.We all crave CL football. If we got EL again, we'd be experiencing the same problems with midweek and weekend matches as we would in the CL, albeit on a different schedule. We've just got to deal with it and try to strengthen the squad to cope with the increased number of games for whichever competition we qualify for.
