Anyone else watching the Shalke game. Interested to see KJH and Raul up against Bilbao. Not sure who'll win this one, should be a good tie.

It should be a good tie this. Like you, I find myself rooting for the Basques. Shalke have a chance with Raul and KJH though.

Simeone seems to have had a real effect at Atletico. No doubt they'll continue to be the Spanish Tottenham and make moves in the summer and be sitting firmly in9th-12th by mid-season.

Bilbao seem a bit like us in recent weeks. A very different beast, lacking in confidence.

Nice play by KJH there, bringing others in to play - hint hint.

Farfan always impresses me, and he has been brilliant so far in this game. Would be a great signing if we could bring him in at a reasonable price as he plays on the right, has great technique, precise delivery, guarantees goals, and takes a mean free kick.

Yep, Farfan hs been plying well, that's about 5 yrs in a row I've thought the same.

Big unit coming on in goal for Shalke. He ate all the pies.
