Just goes to show how over-rated the CL is when the Groomers continue to limp through the qualifying into the last 16 year in year out.

Hopefully a champions league treble will be complete tomorrow night and Chelsea are put out too!

Man City can't even put on a decent performance against an understrength Dortmund.

If I was a fan I'd be embarrassed.

City the first PL team to fail win a single game in the CL group stages.

I can almost hear them cry 'even Spurs did better than us'

Yes, that's right, let me taste those tears.

Actually I think they threw the game so that
they could have Thursdays at home to wash their hair for the weekend.

Gotta love the Lee Dixon "Doom and Gloom" vibe of the Arse in the ITV studio. :D

City will get another hard group next season because they haven't improved their Uefa coefficients, that's why the Europa League is important.

It wouldn't surprise me if this didn't occur to anyone at City.

The team Arsenal sent to Greece was a disgrace. Aren't they interested in finishing on the top? Or are they that desperate about league position?

If we would be in the Champions League again I would sent nearly the best XI on the pitch every game. You have to respect and enjoy every minute out there.

They keep getting piss easy groups. If they'd been in the Dortmund-Real-City-Ajax group they would probably have gone out.

Yup the Greeks are definitely confused tonight - All up and down Holloway and Finsbury Park, Stavros, Nikos and their buddies are disappointed that their team lost tonight but a team from their homeland won.

Note .. Definitely racial stereotyping if anyone wants to complain .. so be it.

That amount of abject failure and misery couldn't happen to a more deserving team. Until tomorrow of course...:sneaky:

I hate to defend Wenger and the Scum, but if you'd already qualified, why would you put out a full-strength squad? Olympiakos aren't that great, so Wenger took a chance. It didn't pay off. They finished second. Is that a huge deal?

All the Arsenal fans were calling talksquark after the game whinging about Wenger and saying he should be sacked. All this afte rthey finished second in the group and qualified for the knock out stages, Personally I think he is doing a fantastic job and they should give him a new contract. And besides if they do sack Wenger what manager in his right mind would want to go and manage that shower of s--t.
