Cracks me up reading those comments saying "that's me done with football if this happens " etc etc. No it's not. You'll carry on watching like everyone else. Lol a Liverpool fan on BBC saying he'll dump them and start supporting Tranmere instead pmsl. Tottenham and football is too ingrained in your life for you not to. And if you're happy to just sack off your club at the drop of a hat then I'd say you're not really into football that much in the first place to begin with.

But there are always going to be extremes on both sides. I also think you're downplaying just how detrimental this will be to football, changing the fundamental structure of the footballing ladder isn't "drop of the hat" reasoning to be disenchanted with your club and chose to go to lower league games.

It's a terrible idea and if we weren't included within the group of "elite" clubs a lot more spurs fans would be fuming.

I get how detrimental it might be. What I'm saying is I highly doubt people will stop watching like they're saying they will. Its like throwing the proverbial toys out of the pram.

I finally found a positive in our poor recent results.

At least, by the time the SL starts, we should have gotten used to having more poor results against the cream of Europe in the SL.

Not interested in this myself and if we join I'll have to consider my support for the first time in 30 odd years

I do however, believe this is just posturing from the 'big' clubs to stop UEFAs new CL format.
Again the big clubs are the ones pushing for a change of format. If this is leverage it’s to try and make the format changes more dramatic, not to reject them. Agnelli and an alliance of the top clubs are pushing the changes not UEFA

No thank you. “Champions” league is already too much of a farce where the wealthiest leagues stitch up so many of the spots. Having a new tournament that is a bona fide rich boys club is even worse.

Social Media - Gary Neville's rant is getting a lot of praise. Talk about hypocrisy.

Of course he is correct and 99% agree but the geezer has been splashing cash at Salford to jump through leagues, where others cant compete.

Working for Murdoch at Sky who have blown broadcasters out the water and ripped off viewers in the process e.g - sky sports box office. Not sure we heard a peep from Neville then.

Employed by the Glasers who are apart of this concept and have allegedly been about the greed.

Now sky is under threat he isnt happy and if sky did buy the rights to this league, lets see if he was apart of the team....

Gary Neville the voice of the people? leave off!
