Is Harry looking to rest a few players tonight? Or do we have any major injury concerns?

Looking at the betting markets: Everton are 6/4, Spurs 11/5! How are Everton favourites?!

Came in here to post this, I do hate betting on us though

any additional team news?

Hutton out, Gallas doubtful. + long term injs.

These injs were all known before yesterday, but Spurs odds of this game have drifted for quite a bit. Anyone knows anything here? If there werent any new injs. Spurs is a great bet tonight then when Everton are without their 2 best players in Cahill and Jagielka.

Thanks

I thought Spurs were a bet at 2.75!

We were 2.3 away to Villa, 2.4 @ Bolton and also Fulham. So for us to be 3.2 @ Everton doesn't really make sense - I wouldn't have Everton better than Bolton for sure.

Definitely keep an eye out for team news!

I doubt we'll change the team too much tbh. We'll make the changes against Charlton but not this one.

I'm expecting..

Gomes
Corluka----Dawson----Bassong----Ekotto
Lennon----Jenas----Modric----Bale
VDV
Crouch

Thats not really too bad. Corluka hasn't played much so will be fresh. So will Bassong. Jenas has been kept out lately by Palacios. While Crouch has been kept out by Pav lately too. So 4 players who should be fresh. We might need to change a couple after 60 mins, but we have a great bench. Maybe bring Walker on for Lennon on the wing if he runs out of steam. Sandro and Palacios on standby just in case Modric runs out of legs (due to the amount of game we've played) and VDV (pushing Jenas up one). There's always Kranjcar too, doubt Bentley will get some time out though. Pav for Crouch just in case.

Plenty of cover there. Its really important we try and take advantage of the fact that Arsenal or City (maybe even both) will drop points tonight.

That's the side I'm expecting too.

Maybe punters are expecting us to rest Bale/Luka/VDV or something

Really? Do you really think we're favourites?

They're a good side, with quality players, who maybe haven't had a great season, but last time we played them we were no great shakes at all, and we're still suspect away from home

I think those odds are about fair - I think a draw is most likely

Bear in mind we're still not playing with a good striker

Just think - one of our strikers is due a blinder, it has to be either tonight or vs. United, surely...?

We were 2.2(5/4) away to Villa and Bolton, you think 3.2(11/5) away to Everton is right? Everton have lost 2(Ars/WBA) and drawn 2(Wig/Bol) of their last 4 at home so not going great. Plus we're the form side in the country and they're missing the only player that has been consistently finding the net for them.

Everton may well win, but at 2.5(6/4) I'd be well against them.

I think that striker is Defoe, and he's not around for tonight

Not saying we won't win, but I don't think we're playing that well

Picking up results, sure - which is awesome - but we're not really clicking

Yes, I think we should be favourites! We haven't played with a top striker all season - we're still top 4 material. Everton are 2 points off the relegation zone.

Granted we have some Gallas and Hutton out but they are also missing Cahill and Jags, their two most influential players.

Their last 6 games reads LDDWDL. Spurs: WDDWWW.

I still think 3.2 is madness and fully expect us to shorten - I guess time will tell!

Also, I wouldn't say Spurs are suspect away from home -14 points off 9 games isn't bad.. That's more than Man Utd and Chelsea!

They're saving it for the big one on Sunday. Athough I fear the ginger Pele could keep them quiete.

We haven't lost since Pleat was running things (or ruining them, as some would say), and only twice in EPL history.

I don't know, maybe the PleatMeister was ruining things...but could he pronounce them (just ask ChimbomBa)

Come on you Spurs! Great opportunity to gain ground on our rivals since Arsenal and City are playing each other.
