Actually fairly baffled as to why he hasn't been sacked today

Are we genuinely going to wait for our season to be un-savable before we do anything?
Seriously? We won 2 then lost 2. We had a bad week again but its far too premature talking about sacking him. We're winning at home and losing away at the moment , that's all. Not sure how being 4th is unsavable.

No, that is great but I have to say I was expecting more. At Inter he was a threat from set-pieces, crosses, from outside the penalty area and did a lot more in thew final third
He's a couple of years off picking up his pension. Zero impact, and earning a fortune

Richarlison - injured twice this season
Bissouma - started slow, once he had momentum he got injured
Spence - isn’t exactly lighting the world on fire in what most people here would call a vastly inferior league
Perisic - the only one I’m willing to agree with, he is aging though and it was always a risk to bring him in to the PL
Bissouma goes from one of the leagues best centre mids to a shadow of his former self, and he didn’t feature for yonks as he was ‘getting to grips with the tactics!’

He must have been far too offensive with his decision making for Antonio! 😂

Conte has shown me nothing at Spurs to be worthy of the term Elite.

Bring through youth (unless forced to do so) - Nope!
Decisive in-game management to correct obvious shortcomings - Nope!
Improve existing player’s performances - Nope!
Manage squad rotation effectively - Nope!
Timely substitutions to swing a result - Nope!
Flexibility with tactics depending on personnel or opponent - Nope!

£15m per season - great VFM? - Nope!

I've said it before and just want to see if anyone else thinks same way.
Conte and levy are desperate to try and ensure their reputation isn't harmed by this shit show of a season. Best way of doing that is try & get to end of season and then say that Conte needs to rest / recuperate in Italy after the year he had so Conte can say that's why he didn't win anything with us & Levy can say it wasn't another failure of an appointment.
It's all about PR now, either way he ain't here next season

Yes. Out of Champions league on Wednesday I don't think will matter either.

I'm more confident of getting something from the game on Wednesday than I was against Wolves yesterday. I don't think this game in isolation is the problem, it's that we'll drop points/lose to either Forest at home or Saints away in the next few games after.

In saying that I of course won't be surprised if we don't win on Wednesday either.

Hilarious to see people on here not recognising just about every team in the Prem apart from the Goons is dropping points regularly.

I was pretty angry about the Sheffield UTD result, but come on.

We're playing crap and still in 4th, but there was plenty of us wanting Conteball or Mourinho's bus.

Be careful what you wish for.

Just because money is spent, doesnt mean a manager is backed. You keep pushing that narrative and its incorrect.
Why wasn't he backed then? Except LCB we bought his transfer targets and still Lenglet looks like his typical signing. We got rid of players he wanted to sell. The only player he didn't want at the club and didn't leave was Bryan on loan in summer but it happened in the next window.
There really isn't even one club in the world that would buy every first choice player for their manager. Backing him more after Bastoni or Gvardiol would most likely mean signings of absolutely mediocre players like McKennie, Dan James, Traore etc.

And let's be honest, we could buy top LCB but right now our biggest problem isn't defence but creating anything from open play. We went from 1,67 xG and scoring 2,44 goals(the most in the league) in last season since Conte came to 1,01 xG and scoring 1,88 goals this season after backing him with 60m forward.

Did you watch us last season under him?
Yeah, just kinda wondering where it went. All very well saying we did well last season, but then this season we look just horrible. Look I know we are in 4th, but that is more down to everyone else being shit over Conte making us better.

You just answered it. Key position LCB.

Oh Djed Spence was his choice then was it?

He wanted to keep all the current players and not upgrade?

It's a strange one to see how different we are to last season, but the fact we even managed 4th last season(some of it down to Arsenal bottling it) was miraculous in itself, we shouldn't have been anywhere near it.

Considering everything that's gone on this season with Ventrone, the insurmountable injury list with our backups all injured at the same time, I'm surprised we're 4th. People will say its because Chelsea and Liverpool are crap, but that's not up to us or in our control so I don't see how it's really relevant. We've been better than them over the course of the season so far which is why we are ahead of them

Why do you think he wasn’t backed? Here’s a clue. It’s the same answer to that question for every previous manager too. Also, where are you getting this stuff? We have already done this dance re: difference between backing a manager and spending money. P.s. You think Conte wanted Dan James? Seriously?

This is one of the most boring Spurs teams I’ve ever seen and I’ve been watching since the 1970s. This has nothing to do with Levy and everything to do with Conte. You could fill the squad with whoever you like, but if this is Conte’s way I hate it. Dull, unimaginative and risk averse.
I agree but I feel like Jose, Nuno and Conte have just sort of merged into one big mind boggling dull blob of anti football.
