From what I’d seen earlier, there is some doubt Stellini will come, he stayed at Inter, the rest followed Conte out the door so are more likely to come in. His GK coach also stayed at Inter, also expected to stay where he is. So maybe a couple of new additions to the Conte team.
Original announcement about Conte said that his support team would be a follow up announcement in due course. You’d assume they’ll want some in place by tomorrow, hard to prepare for a game on your own.

Looks like Stellini is no longer part of the Inter staff.

I tell you what would be nice. If he made us good at making use of attacking set pieces.
Agreed. Son puts a devilish delivery in and we should have scored a few from them even under Nuno. If we work on them properly there are loads of goals to be scored.

Cant remember how I heard this, think it was the father in law who's a hammer (dont ask). Anyway, this could be a great chant with a few changes to lyrics. Got that footbal chant feel.
OH OH ANTONIO.

That chorus is catchy (starts at around 40 seconds in). These are the normal lyrics.
Oh Oh Antonio he's gone away
Left me alonio, all on my ownio
I want to meet him with his new sweetheart
Then up will go Antonio and his ice-cream cart.

Could change it to
Oh Oh Antonio he came to Hotspur Way,
He's better than Mourinho, he'll tell you that it's true you know,
You'll see him at the weekend down at White Hart Lane,
Then in will march the Spurs and we'll win again!

I dunno. The last line might be a bit hubristic.

Looking forward to seeing what Conte can do with Lucas. He's top drawer at everything except final ball/finishing. I think the system will force Lucas more central and if Conte and his team can get that final piece of the puzzle we have 3 insane forwards to work with.

Will Conte’s work permit come through by tomorrow evening so he will be able to be on the touch line?

Bet that was Winks the fairy! 2months and he’ll be playing for Norwich ?
Let’s hope so. I can see Winksy running away like Forrest Gump, if he heads east, maybe he runs to Norwich. If he runs west, maybe he either ends up at Bristol City or ploughs into the Atlantic and drowns. Either way, his time is up!

I think the weirdest thing for me is how “at peace” I feel right now. Like, at the tail end of Poch we were playing bad (still did some great things, though), I was never a huge fan of Mourinho and always had that feeling he was washed up, and Nuno just was Nuno. Enter Conte and this belief that he’s still very much elite, got a lot more to give and basically if the players do their part we will either be successful right away or successful when Conte decides they have to go and replace them with players up for it. It’s a truly bizarre feeling that I haven’t really felt since Peak-Poch.
I absolutely agree with you. I live in Germany now and I haven’t been to a home game since Huddersfield in 2019, due to living in the US, Germany, COVID, and the embarrassment of dragging my girlfriend (a BVB Dortmund fan) to see my team, in a shit state…

Tonight, we watched BVB get slapped about by Ajax (again), and I’m looking to see when we can get over to London to see a real team play?

The Coaches' Voice (@CoachesVoice) Tweeted: In his masterclass, Steve Holland explains how Antonio Conte's 5-2-3 turned into a 3-2-5 when Chelsea attacked, before they went on to win the Premier League... ???

#CFC

Shows the clear difference between Conte and Jose.

Jose wants to find ways to stop the opposition first and their weaknesses then find attacking solutions.

Conte wants to find ways to cause the opposition problems - as long as the more defensive players keep their shape.

Misleading title in a way, mostly its AVB crying about Levy, his time at spurs and moaning, also pointing he has the best Win % at Spurs (Although that was basically Bale on his own lol) .... Also technically a fib as ryan mason has a 2.1% higher win ration than im ? ( if we are talking all time then Frank Brettell and Arthur Turner also had better win ratios ?)

I’m hopeful the much discussed “irksome” players will break out their malaise and put the effort in now, to be part of something. It’s obvious under Conte we should be going places so they either knuckle down or risk their career faltering and becoming a squad player at a mid-to-lower level premier league team (e.g. see Capoue)

Spent evening reading what I could about Conte and putting links to best pieces below.

Thanks for these. This is really interesting. Nothing about his move to Spurs but shows his ahem ruthlessness.

‘Derby of the heart’: When Conte joined Juventus, his hometown saw him as a hero. Then he did something unforgivable.
