Because there is nothing left for them to do here. They built the stadium now they can sell and leave so we can build a team.
The bottom line on this however is they're not selling up any time soon. The value they'll be after (rightly so considering all elements) is unlikely to be on the table unless a cash-rich country with a dodgy human rights record wants to launder their reputation at the expense of ours.

With due respect to you and @Hotspur88, when I got back from game last night I took his post totally as an opinion piece, in fact he even said it was opinion in the piece (he deleted but can still be seen in your response)
The unicorns comment may be over the top, but surely ITKs can be challenged on their opinion, rather than ITK, I mean Trix is all the time
Part ITK, part info.

The post challenged whether Conte & the club were on the same level regarding the plan moving forward. It's been said multiple times what the plan is and that EVERYONE is aware.

The only thing that makes sense is that you feel duped and you are projecting your feelings onto Conte.

Let's try and follow your conspiracy theory to the end

ENIC and members at THFC like Paratici have purposefully tricked Conte into signing a multi-million-pound contract by lying to him about what exactly?

Did they tell him we have an amazing squad?
That he would have 1 billion Pounds to spend on players?

Would genuinely like to know what you think he had been 'duped' about and to what end you believe duping him serves the people duping him as if he wouldn't find out within days of being there....

Then, we have to all but assume Conte and his team have done absolutely zero due-diligence on the multi-million-pound contract he was about to sign and thought fuck it - ill just sign and see what happens. I won't pre-assess the squad or get further assurances about the things I have been told, I will wing it and just see what happens.
I don't feel duped. So far, it's all going exactly as I thought it would.

It could be you just don't like what I typed, and are spending too much time and energy trying to break down a rando opinion on the internet.

I'm 100% behind Conte and don't think he should be sacked. Regardless of results (unless threatening actual relegation), he should be given his full-term of contract AND adequate support in the coming transfer windows. However, he needs to learn to keep his trap shut after games that don't go his way. He has more mood swings than a menopausal woman. One minute they're the best group of players he's had, the next it's not working and he (and them presumably) aren't good enough. He needs to earn that massive salary and be a leader.

You forget I also have a contact who is connected to Conte. Who was the first to mention the interest in the summer and then again when we sacked Nuno?! Who was the first to mention that Conte was leaving Inter early 2021 before it had hit the press?! I appreciate your reasoning for last night's post, but you must not presume all my info is coming from the club's side because I get info from both sides currently.

The man seems lost as to where to go from here. With all recent managers, things start off well and then we fall off a cliff. The managers say the team works hard, which is probably true then, but on the pitch some other shit goes down. This club is draining these managers. No one seems able to put a finger on it.

It's a crazy situation. It's like a terminal illness. You bring in a new specialist and there seem to be positives with new treatment methods and then there's regression.

It's just draining.

The club is tired.
Not true The managers have all put their fingers on it, Well Poch, Jose and Now Conte have. quite a few players need shipping out and the playing staff needs to be rebuilt with an actual structure to what we are buying. It's certainly fair that some of that sits on Levy, but at the same time a full rebuild takes a lot of money, which the stadium was built to provide. The combination of Levy, NWHL, Covid, plus of course poor purchases (of those we have brought in) are why we are where we are. That said I think this is the only manager of the three I'd intrust to actually do that properly though, not wasting countless millions in the process.

As I keep saying Conte will be substantially backed in the Summer!

Well the choice was improve in January, we clearly didn’t improve enough to be where Conte wanted us to be at this stage.
January is a window that is very difficult to buy in and Conte even said that himself.

We shipped out the bad apples and bought in two quality players.

Yes ideally we could have used more but the winter window isn’t the one for it - you either get ripped off for average players or you buy square pegs for round holes that end up getting shipped out at a later date.

Most are just reacting to the quotes directly from Conte and let's face it we've been lost for a long time now.

Everyone's frustrated but I think this is very precious of you. Its a forum. There are trolls. Some people just want to watch the world burn etc. But people have a right to opinions. We all have to deal with it and if we can't then don't.

So you’re saying that if we’d bought in a right wing back we’d be in a worse position?

It is of course only my opinion and it is formed from reading and listening to many sources but I think Conte is frustrated hence the outburst. Conte is a passionate man about his football However he did know that this was a situation that could occur and he heard the message from Levy himself
Levy knows only too well we are in sh** street at the moment He wants to give Conte as much money as he can but as of yet has not secured the source for the money Stadium naming rights and buying into the club are just two options. He knows that he has to give Conte money in the summer now to rebuild but of course Conte wanted some of it in January. He wanted Cham Lge next season but the club would not risk the debt (even if they could get the credit)

The summer transfer widow will be telling and probably set out the clubs future for 5 years

It will be a tough ride to the end of the season as we just dont have the right players at the moment And some of the senior players should be doing better

Fair enough, if that is how you see it.

You said "Said elite manager is realising that he's been sold a dead duck, that he's been duped into joining a mid-table team with no means of hitting his level"

I just wanted to know where you are getting the idea for this conspiracy because it seems like a pretty weird thing to say. If you are just saying a bunch of random shit cos you aren't happy with how things are going then I guess I can understand that on some level.
