Don't get me started on what they've achieved on the pitch during those 20 years. It's been done to death. They got lucky with Poch and screwed him over like they're in the process of doing with Conte.
Conte has done a very good job of screwing himself with the performances he has put out this season to be fair. I really can’t fathom out why we would back him further, when it is clear he doesn’t improve players, we are not going to , and we’re never going to buy him a billion pound team of players.

Poch deserved more backing than he got, Conte at the moment really doesn’t based on how well he was done with the investment from last summer. Should cut our losses

It's been stated that Levy's cronies browse the forum before right?

Well, can I say if any of them are reading then...

WE ARE WISE TO EVERYTHING YOU DO AND WE ARE NOT BLIND TO WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO DO
you forgot - heres £80.00 - see you Saturday

Yep, this shouldn’t matter at all. It’s Paratici that should sign the players and find the positions the club’s philosophy requires. Coaches should come and go, but the back end should always stay the same.

Why the we don’t do this is infuriating .

I think you're missing the point.

The club do not want to sign the players CONTE wants because they don't know if he is going to be here after the Summer.

The players Conte wants do not align with the Club philosophy.

There is no point in signing players in line with the Club vision as Conte does not want them and they will probably not be played like Djed Spence.

That timeline feels like about the only way the club could get away with not spending any money on players this window too.

"We felt it was in the best long term interests of the club not to invest further in the playing squad in the January window, a notoriously difficult market, once it became clear Antonio was not going to remain at the club."
That feels almost verbatim what the club will say. Uncanny.

That would be interesting if true, but screw them too. Screw 'em all.

This already tells us what the next chump will be fed and the constraints he'll have to work under.

If you think the next simp has any chance, well, I don't know what to tell you.

Same old, same old.
Okay champ, suggestions? Please don't say back Conte when we as fans know that that is not going to happen. I might as well make plans for what I'm going to do with my 12" knob. In both instances we would be dealing very much with a hypothetical.

The way this club is run is absurd. Is this not why we have a director of football? To identify players that fit conte’s structure AND are good for future managers? What’s he being paid for?

This absolutely stinks of Daniel finding a way out of serious investment.
I imagine the director of football will also be out the door, and the spreadsheets fired back up, macros enabled!

Utter mess. If the club have same philosophy and vision, it shouldnt matter. If they are good players, new managers will play them.

Club is a complete laughing stock.

I don’t have a problem with this in principle, because it’s clear Conte’s style and system is a diversion from our ‘normal’ style and system you accept because he might win you something. Whoever we hire next it will likely be a manager with a more conventional style (4 at the back, high press etc.) so no point hamstringing them too.

But what is unforgivable is that it got to this point. If we wanted Conte to stay we should have backed him last summer and enticed him to stay. Or given him an ultimatum in December to say sign or we’ll plan without you. Instead we’re letting it ruin another window and harm the club’s future and reputation. It’s unforgivable

Sorry Tucky but I can't get on board with this :D

We moan about Kane, we moan about Loris and we've moaned about so many players and managers on SC that they cannot possible be counted. That isn't getting behind the team, that's what we do. Have moan will travel, it's almost a pro activity on here and i'd agree there's far too much of it or maybe better to say it goes too far :D

But shortstuff is up there in his club booster seat to be shot at and while any complaints on here aren't really going to make any difference to things, you can hardly expect people to keep quiet any more, it's the number one gripe (finally) with almost everyone now. And it's pretty unfair to advise anyone to fuck Spurs off out of their lives for doing that when it's widely seen as the most positive thing for the club, the rest of the stuff, next manager, who we should sign and all that, that is the stuff that's pointless until he's gone.

I reckon a lot of us are fed up with the constant negativity but at the end of the day It all just reflects how people feel.

EDIT: Oh and I just realised we're in the Conte thread, my bad View attachment 121269
That’s all fair, but at the end of the day the site is becoming pretty poisonous. Almost every thread is full of exactly the same posts pouring vitriol on Levy.

Think I’ll duck out for the time being, everything is far too depressing.

The club shouldn’t be signing players for any coach. It should all go through Paratici. I don’t see the point of a DOF if he isn’t the one setting the tone of how we play football.
