This reminds of the time Ron Burgendy told San Diego to go fuck themselves
This is one the best things I have ever read in this forum and I have been i tears laughing for about five minutes straight - thank you - truly thank you. That's cheered me right up

I think he’s made it even harder for Levy to sack him as he’s a loose cannon this man won’t be signing any NDA’s or FDA’s like others have.
Course he will. Take it from an employment lawyer that pretty much everyone who gets paid off signs something about not slagging off their former employer.

When conte came in 2 things were going to happen
Levy would change and we’d Be successful/ Win trophies or Conte explodes and takes levy down for not giving him what he wants.

So I’m not going to criticise him for what he’s said today because quite frankly he’s spot on, however he could’ve done a lot more to help change some of the outcomes.

However there’s no way he can continue, should’ve gone after Milan and needs to go now.

Well done Antonio. You may have signed your own resignation, but well said. And he talked about the players' attitude being disrespectful to the fans. Us. He's angry for himself but don't overlook how angry he is for us.
He’s the one who picks the players!!

It’s the tail wagging the dog!

I've already said my piece on that already. I don't think they understand elite managers require elite players. It's my view Levy and the rest of the anthill mob were hoping an elite manager would get more out of the deadwood and journeymen and they can't.

Levy logic..... spend 15 mil a season on a manager spend half the required amount on the squad.
That is the point in paying for an elite manager. To make up for the short comings in the squad.

If you need elite players to play your system, you aren't an elite manager.

Well they're sure as hell pouring a lot of resources into staff turnover. And player spend and wages are also going up and to the right. You'd think if it wasn't much a priority they'd be a lot more comfy with underachieving on the pitch.

My annoyance with the board is more that they seemed too hungry for success. Poch had earned more time to reset/transition the club.

It’s all relative. How much are they spending compared to City, Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle and the scum?

This doesn't make sense.

Pep wouldn't do nearly as well at some lower league clubs as their managers. He wouldn't be the right guy, because he needs top players for his system and tactics. Doesn't mean he's not an elite manager.

Similarly some lower league managers work wonders with their squads but would fail at City with all that that job demands.

They don't hire Pep to make up for shortcomings. They can basically buy anyone they want.

Two things.

Conte is paid £15m pa and it turns out that he is tactically inept and unable to change things when they go wrong during gameplay. Instead he throws a tantrum like a big baby and blames everyone else. Great managers keep their bitch mouths shut and sort it out on the training pitch and in the boardroom.

Second thing is that I now consider Contes appointment as the last throw of the dice, it hasn’t worked and now Levy, Lewis and ENIC can just get off the pot and let someone else have a turn - and the whole club needs turning round and everything must point towards success on the pitch.

I’m not arguing with anyone on here because I don’t give a monkeys who you back or blame but a line has to be drawn and things need to change drastically. I can’t have that feeling time after time, it’s not why I love my Spurs.

COYS!
True, but, I remember Arteta throwing the players under the bus against Newcastle end of last season. He spoke his mind.

I've watched it twice now and I love any of reason to have a go this Italian but you know what fairplay he's said everything perfectly nothing wrong with what he has said, the problem is he probably has upset these soft-belly footballers now so they will be running into Levy.

Let's see what he does I wonder if we have hit the bump either levy and conte sit down and move us forward or we are about to go nuclear as the little man will be so angry.
