Getting the right manager is much more important than getting top 4 this season. If putting Mason in for 10 games allows us to do that, than I'm all for it.
Iโ€™d agree if I thought things would actually play out like that however I have zero faith that it will. I can completely see us scrambling around come some yet again.

Wonder who that person in Levy's ear to end the cycle that we are on that Trip referred to earlier is. If its Kane I don't Conte is going anywhere. We are a couple actual Conte signings at CB away from being pretty good I believe. Doesn't matter who the manager is if Levy keeps signing who he wants instead of the manager that won't play them. I'm annoyed at Conte's attitude just like everyone else, but you'd probably go off after what's he's been through and constantly getting players you aren't asking for as well. I'm sick of Conte's negativity, but I didn't see many people upset the way we finished the season last year. Saturday I wanted him gone. I'm just sick of this endless cycle like we all are.

Edit. Well I guess he will be gone

Tbf if the new guy waits until next season heโ€™ll hopefully have a fit Bentancur so the team will look 100% better straight away. Wise.

If itโ€™s Mason I think top 4 is gone
Conte doggedly drilling resentful players who know the project is already doomed is a recipe for a precipitous end of season slump.

If Mason takes over the likelihood is that he sticks with Conteโ€™s tactics but eases off on the micromanagement. Everybody breathes out and the players maybe even start enjoying playing football again. It probably wonโ€™t be great but with luck watching us play might feel a little less like torture.

If it was players downing tools for one manager I would be more sympathetic. Itโ€™s not itโ€™s now 4 in a row. The club is rotten and the manager is the most easily moveable piece but not the piece that is going to fix the problems.
Except that only 10 players in the squad have played under 4 managers, 2 of which were youth players under 1 managers (and 1 of those was out on loan under another manager) and 2 of which have been out best players under all 4 of the them (excluding this season, its just the 1 of them).

Playful, to the point and factual, less aggression more humiliation.

You fucked up again..
You fucked up again..
Daniel Levy...
You fucked up again...

I believe Hotspur 88 is saying:
We're waving goodbye to Antonio, he's walking, the club is sitting on its hands. Let the bloodletting begin.
