Surprised about stellini… i wonder if he will be whatsapping conte mid match like he has before.

Anyway hate how it’s ended but thanks for the passion and a great 3/4month period at the end of last season antonio.

What’s the point in keeping Stellini on?? Will he not implement the exact same ideas as Conte?
Tbf we played alot better under stellini than conte. But agree it’s bizarre imo, stellini has been with him for years,

I was so optimistic at the beginning of the season. I thought we had a world class manager, a DOF with an eye for a talent who was in-sync with the manager. I thought we'd made some decent signings in the summer, some of whom could make an immediate impact.

It just hasn't worked out. Conte has had personal and health issues.

But we're still in the hunt for top 4. The season can be salvaged but where we go from here, I have no idea.

Stellini should not be a shock.

He has more experience than Mason, and he ensures some semblance of continuity for the run-in.

Added to that - he has a contract, that runs out in the summer. So, he won't be a hindrance to a new manager, but gives us the best chance to advance this season. And, he probably gets a little pay bump for the last few months.

Think that’s a bad move keeping Stellini on. Surely he’s just Conte’s right hand man? Same ideas etc.

Don’t think this bodes well at all.

Thank christ they've actually finally sorted something.

Hope they've already sorted something for the summer too. Because there's gonna be a few clubs looking for sought after managers.

We really are a shambles. Why keep Stellini on? Might as well have just stuck with Conte until the end of the season because nothing is going to change.

Stellini staying is bizarre. Unless he’s turned his back on Conte and has been told this is an audition for the job how is he expected to be motivated for these 10 games. Very strange.

Stellini says he has management ambitions.

It will look good for him getting a potential managers gig in the summer if we finish well.

Not surprised he's up for staying.

Keeping Stellini on protects Ryan Mason and allows for a new manager to arrive in the summer

Best of luck for your return to Italy Antonio. Such a shame it didn’t work out.

We’ll always have last season and no doubt in my mind you gave everything for the club while you here. Prioritising us over your family and health will always make me massively respect you and think fondly of you. Go win the Scudetto 🇮🇹
