Alphonso Davies playing Ange's style of football from LB would be unreal. The only player who could do that as well as Udogie.

Really? Upamecano, Di Ligt, Davies, Kimmich, Goretzka, Coman, Gnabry and Musiala were lauded as being some of the best around in their positions not so long ago. Their recent performances wouldn't suggest that but that's down to form or the something else I referred to. There have been much worse Bayern sides than this one on paper.

Upamecano, Coman, Gnabry and Musiala are all overrated IMHO.

Every time I've seen him, both for Germany and BM he clearly has bags of skill but end product can be a bit lacking in those high quality games. Just my thoughts, my sample size is small compared to some however.

superb dribbler with great technical ability but hangs onto the ball too long, i bet kane gets frustrated playing with him.
only 20/21 though so will probably figure it out.

I could see him being tempted by such a prestigious job that would offer him the chance to notch up another league title. Bayern would be absolute mugs to hire him though. He’d almost certainly win them the league, but equally certain would be the implosion and the departure within a couple of years. You wouldn’t exactly bet on him doing much in the CL either. Bayern need someone who might actually stick around.

I don't think Bayern care about that. They seem to have a Chelsea under Abramovich policy of hiring and firing at will, but still being a consistent winning machine. None of their managers seem to stay more than 2 seasons, most of them are lucky to make it past 1 season.

As you say, so so glad we moved on from him, Ange is the opposite to this in every way.
Under Conte at times when we'd won I came away from the match feeling like we'd lost, whereas under Ange we play fantastic football and score and win a lot of games but even when we don't play as well or lose I'm not even that bothered or upset.
I think Ange IF given enough time can be the closest thing we've had to Bill Nic in terms of making an impact and leaving a legacy behind.

He probably is the closes that has come to leaving a legacy like Bill Nic tbh, the footballing landscape is so different and difficult now, Poch got us to 2x title races, finish 2nd and CL final and unbeaten in final season at WHL.
That all being said Ange feels more certain, with Poch for me there was always a bit of a doubt as to if he 100% believed in himself that he could get over the line, he was very emotional and his pressers were a bit non-committal at times, so far Ange has just shown rock solid belief from day 1 consistently and that to me is similar to the likes of Pep, Klopp etc which along with more money from new stadium is why I think Ange has a good chance of success with us if given time.

I love Ange but not sure the potential Bill Nic legacy comparisons are quite right.
Poch did talk about the long term. He loved to slowly implement players. Sadly poor and non existent singing a for a period killed that and his attitude changed. But there was definitely a period where he was taking about staying for a very long time.
With Ange he has said managing a club for around 3 years is the right amount. I love Ange and the playing style he’s implementing but I’m not sure he’s looking to be here for a decade.

Not right yet for sure but what I said was he could have the potential to be the closest thing we've had to Bill Nic and a chance to leave a bit of a legacy, even its its a relatively short-term 3-4year one, the style of play, the quotes he's putting out about not settling for 4th etc, the connection with the fans, if Ange wins us say our first FA Cup for 30 yrs or dare to dream the PL within that 4 years or a European Trophy then he absolutely will leave a legacy.
Lets dare to dream as Ange does.

Absolutely. In terms of playing style and attitude I can’t remember ever being this excited as a Spurs fan.
Hopefully Ange can succeed with his vision and stays here a good while.
