I don't know really. Depends who we buy/sell.

Realistically I imagine the club will just hope to hang on to 5/6 place with a few decent performances along the way (and a few bad ones as well no doubt).

A cup run would be good - we need to win a trophy as we have done every decade since the Forties.

Yes of course this season is not over yet but 4th is a pipe dream I think.

No abuse please - just a general thread in a week where there is no football.

pritchard, alli and onomah to join the squad. dier, rose, bentaleb, mason and kane continue to improve. beyond that i don't really have any requirements so to speak.

A good showing in the league, contesting top 4 all the way and a Cup or two would be nice; all done with a backbone of our Academy produced players.

To do list

Manufacturer more european superstars, earning the business a good profit when we sell to clubs leveraged with unfair finances.

Continue branding in China, America and Australia, earning worldwide recognition, earning the business good profit.

Get good sponsorship from having these superstars in the making, both from player endorsements and direct sponsorship, earning the business good profit.

Build the new stadium, which in the longer run will earn the business good profit, and attract bigger players which may lead to bigger fanbases and champions league football, earning the business better profits.

Continue to infuse the club will probabilistic chances of success in several areas by buying good promising talent and well known names, maintaining an echoe of the glory the club once had, and maintain the ephemeral hope that drives most of us Spurs addicts to addiction, earning the business good profit.

I want us to put in a strong challenge for the Top 4 (unlike this season which has been a weak challenge) but I don't think getting CL football is a necessity. However, I'd expect CL football the season after.

I still think we need experience within the squad, they don't necessarily have to be starting each week, but to have within the squad will be useful. Younger players don't just learn from playing first team football, they also learn from more experienced players who have 'been there, done that'.

Integrate some of the younger players also, i.e. Pritchard, Alli, Ithink would also be a good idea.

I would go for the same objectives as I had for this season LINK

You can't meassure things like "play the spurs way" so I'd set our objectives as

· 70+pts in Premier League
· Finish season with GD of +20 or more (even Everton achieved this last year)
· Semi final or better in any of the cup competitions

That for me would be a sucessful season

But the main one for me personally would be the goal difference.

We always 'challenge' for the top four but I can't remember the last time we had an impressive goal difference where we've won games comfortably and been able to take our foot off the gas for the last 10 mins and rest players rather than having to keep a high tempo for the whole 90mins.

Improvement, that's all I want. For us to be better than this season will be enough.

Would love us to get rid of all the players we really need to (not going to happen!)

.......bring in Zach Clough for starters

Pritchard recall, Kane to have a second 30 goal season, a CM, a sharp number 10 and a striker worthy to support and replace Kane. Lastly for levy to back poch and get rid of any player he doesn't fancy even for a loss. Oh and for Poch to stop playing players who haven't a hope of fitting his system OR show some flexibility in his system to adapt to what he has to work with.

No less than two pacey attackers. Our lack of pace is far and away our greatest impediment to balance, and is a fundamental pillar in a high press. Can't get to a ball-carrier in time, you can't shut off his passing lanes, you can't prevent a counter in behind your high back line.

I expect Pritchard to not only return to the fold, but feature prominently. I am convinced he will be a wonderful asset in Poch's system, as he is dynamic and agile enough to work through the tight spaces of the congestion Poch's system induces. We very much lack ability in tight spaces, in terms of both consistent ideas and especially dribbling ability to create and move through space, and Pritch will go a long way in solving this even if he isn't prolific at first. I think he will surprise many people next season.

I know this is a carry over from the dissuasion in the other thread but it really isn't our biggest problem. Our biggest problem is a lack of intelligence and football craft. Even Eriksen can't play a through ball.

The ability to run 100 metres in 9 seconds is not a pre-requisite for a good pressing policy. As I said in the other thread, take Barca, Bayern or even Dortmund. Not every player, even every attacking player is a super fast sprint champ. Muller ? Lewandowski ? Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, ?

No players at our level are going to be fatty slow slows, it just doesn't happen any more. The rest is about energy, stamina and conditioning. If they are super quick great, but it's not an absolute must. Just quick enough.
