as manu just won the carling cup, does that mean that there will be an extra uefa cup spot up for grabs in the league?
Like Tyson being beaten by Buster Douglas? My prematch prediction is that we will not qualify for Europe for many years, I stand by it. Whats the point of us qualifying when we won't take it seriously anyway?Stranger things of happens, and it doesn't hurt to be ambitious...

SpursWho's 'we'?
I don't really see how we can make a realistic challenge in the UEFA cup. If we were high up in the league I bet Redknapp would still have put a weakened team out. The team played well on thursday but a stronger side would have given Shaktar a lot more trouble.Unfortunately due to our league position and the CC Final coming up, Harry felt it best to field a weaker side this year.
That doesn't mean we have never taken it seriously, or that we will not take it seriously again, or even that the fans and players weren't taking it seriously.
Spurs
Define Spurs.
The fans? The players? The management?
Who exactly doesn't take the UEFA Cup seriously?
Yes, and could be an extra one depending on who makes the fa cup final
To be honest i think a season without european football could be a good thing for the club, we can really push on in the league next season and who knows champions league football could be a possibility.
If we have a good spell in the league we could still qualify for Europe!!
