Extreme football

The Castrol Extreme Football Challenge sees two 5-a-side teams go head to head over a two leg tie, with the rules and regulations of a normal 5-a-side match. But these two matches will not be played on grass, astro-turf or any other ordinary footballing surface, and that is exactly what makes it extreme. The challenges faced by the players over the next few days are not going to be easy, but they will be getting some help from a couple of football legends, ex Arsenal defenders Martin Keown and Nigel Winterburn. And they’ll need the help; the first match will be played on ice.
