French Ligue 1: Ezequiel Lavezzi has not ruled out a move from Paris St Germain

Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi has not ruled out a move away from the big-spending club, with Tottenham and Arsenal rumoured to be interested.

Lavezzi has struggled to break into the PSG first team this year and has been limited to brief cameos from the bench in recent weeks.

Behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani in the pecking order, the 28-year-old, who signed for the capital club from Napoli for a reported 30million euros in July 2012, has been linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes.

With rumoured interest from Barclays Premier League clubs Arsenal and Tottenham, Lavezzi admits he is uncertain over what the future holds but is desperate to give his all for the Ligue 1 leaders.

"I do not know. A player never knows exactly all these things," Lavezzi told Le Parisien.

"But what I can tell you is that I will do everything to change my situation in Paris because I did not give my best shot and I do not want this to continue."

Lavezzi, who will be hoping to earn a place in Argentina's World Cup squad, revealed he must shoulder some of the blame for his struggles this season.

"I did not prepare myself well before the championship," he added. "And the fact that my level is not good is certainly linked to the fact that I'm a bit weak physically."

Would love Lavezzi, could act as the perfect foil to Soldado as well as doing a great job by himself. Completely waisted at PSG. He might also help Lamela's development. Yes please.

Would be ideal - a creative left-sided forward and could cover for Soldado at CF.

But no way we're going to spend £20m on a 28yo now the Bale cash has gone.

yes please, think he's such a fantastic player, would be pretty much a first team regular and doesn't stop running.

No thanks. Great player but think there are younger better versions for same money. Would love us to go for Griezmann.

I think either player would be an instant upgrade to our attacking trident.
I thought Goons were after Griezmann this Winter, no?

They are also after Diego Costa, if they get even 1 or 2 of the players they have been linked with we can say goodby to finishing above them any time in the next 2/3 years.

Griezmann is a lefty, something we already have plenty of at the winger position, and can't cover at striker.

Lavezzi would be a fantastic buy, a great forward who would suit us very well. Unfortunately, if there was a chance of getting him, there won't be anymore. Griezmann, as much as I like him, would essentially be an upgrade on Townsend. Unless we plan on selling Andros I don't see any point in getting him.

Well there's still time

As reported by Sky Sport 24, 29-year-old forward Ezequiel Lavezzi has not yet found an agreement with PSG to renew his contract and could then leave the French club.

I'm surprised his name didn't appear during this window.

I mean this in the nicest possible way Chris, but fuck off with bumping transfer rumour threads, it's proper annoying. Now, like me, people are going to come in here expecting a link and instead just find your usual musings. Give it a rest fella!
