Effectively free? We've lost the best player in the country and haven't created a clear cut chance on goal in 270 minutes of prem football.

It's early days but to claim we haven't lost anything and have gained is incorrect in my view.

*Slow clap*

You've just made your entire post redundant by saying that.

Mate, I'm just worried about dropping points and not scoring goals like anyone.

Eriksen is yet to play, Lamela has only played 15 minutes and Holtby has only played in EL and u21s so far this season after injury, so once Eriksen and Holtby are in play and the team is gelled and settled, we'll be fine.

o_O Not scored you mean.
Not created a clear cut chance? we had 3-4 yesterday alone.
No clear cut chance vs Swansea?
Steady on

Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas will not sign Real Madrid's Fabio Coentrao after Carlo Ancelotti says no

2 Sep 2013 18:21

Andre Villas-Boas has seen Tottenham Hotspur's last-minute bid for Real Madrid fullback Fabio Coentrao knocked back by Real Madrid coach and Chelsea predecessor Carlo Ancelotti .
Spurs were keen to bring in the Portuguese international ads part of the world-record deal which saw Gareth Bale swap London for Madrid , but Ancelotti made it clear he didn't want to lose Coentrao.
Villas-Boas was looking to replace Benoit Assou-Ekotto with Coentrao, 25, as former PSG coach Ancelotti prefers Marcelo in his starting line-up at the Bernabeu.
"I know that Fabio wants to play" said Ancelotti.
"But not all of the technical staff agree that he should leave. He is needed for the project."
It is believed the White Hart Lane boss wants to replace Assou-Ekotto with his compatriot because he doesn't rate the Cameroon international, but wanted the former Benfica man - who publicly stated his desire to leave - on loan .
Spurs have brought in a whole host of new signings this summer, with much of the Bale money spent before he confirmed his deal to Madrid on Sunday.

Not to mention the squad actually playing together for a while

I agree with you, my worry is it will be to late. Could be December before this happens.

December?

Looking at the fixtures, the next 2/3 games are all winnable before we play Chelsea. I think we have some kind fixtures in October too. Perhaps the easier nature of the games and limited number of big games will help us.

Our squad is fine as it is. A LB would be nice, but Rose/BAE are more than capable. Arsenal signing Ozil shouldn't let us look down upon our own window. We've played a blinder all things considered.

How's Madrid need to sell ATM?

Isn't a squad of 26 they have to register?

@bbcsport_david: Understand Man Utd are making a move for Real Madrid left-back Fabio Coentrao on loan. No idea if it will come off #bbcfootball #mufc #rmfc

Would be a final kick in the teeth from RM

Real Madrid have treated us like absolute dirt. Strengthening our rivals and ruining our whole window with the saga. Depressing
