I have no real problem with the club, the players or the money, it's the way that some of their fans have reacted that annoys me. They used to be quite down to earth but they've become so arrogant of late that I really fear for humanity. If we got taken over like that, I'd like to think we'd keep our identity but we'd probably become just like them. It's not really the fans fault though, the club sold their souls for them and they've become as greedy as their owners.

I'd absolutely love it if they ended up finishing 6th or 7th this season. Spending all that money on players and actually taking a step or two back.

And it's not even that inconceivable. They've got a lot of very good players, but are yet to form them into a team. And Mancini, for all his achievements in Italy, doesn't seem to have the nous for Premiership tactics and formations. And with their new players earning so much more money than the players that are already there, are they going to show enough desire and determination to graft out a win away at places like Stoke and Blackburn?

I don't think it'd be at all surprising if Mancini got sacked before Christmas and City ended up finishing behind Spurs, Everton and Liverpool.

The thing Abramovich did really right at Chelsea was to get the best manager possible. I don't think they've done that at City and they've made a lot of 'bridesmaid' signings for obscene amounts of money. They'll still win the league in the next few seasons though, it's inevitable.

Man shitty has replaced Newcastle as one of my most hated teams. I used to like them even when Mark Hughes was in charge I didn't mind them too much.

To be honest I don't reallt worry about them.

If you visit Spurs sites that aren't really moderated you'll find the same mindless drivel that you get on any football website that isn't moderated.

If we started buying top players with no money worries and the club made it clear that the title is our aim then I'm sure we'd have our fair share of arrogant fans.

Personally I think they're setting themselves up for a fall and the reason that some of them hate us is because we're still their competition not Man Utd.

I just read somewhere they're offloading lescott on loan. After such a dramatic signing from Everton, now they decide he's not needed? Unbelievable.

A few choice comments over on blue moon again today.

They really have a problem with us. Idiots, most of them.

That site makes cracking reading when things don't go their way.

What makes me laugh is the amount of threads they have about other clubs, mostly us, United and Everton. Rather than talk about their club, they talk about how we and United will fail this season and how much they hate us, and how much they are better than United and us. Yes, that makes sense, because we absolutely dicked on you last season, twice, didn't we? Idiots, the lot of them over on Bluemoon.

Oh, and the whole world is against City as well. If you haven't figured that out from Bluemmon, you soon will.

LOL! so true.. but then again why would anyone want to see a team that is just throwing money around as if there are no problems in the world do well. On top of having the attitude that they're automatically going to crush every team in front of them.

There are plenty of teams that have worked hard for years to build a team that have more right to success than them. I'd much rather see Everton win something, they've stuck by there manager for a long time now and deserve some reward for that.

Some of the money they've spent on players and wages for non top-tier players is unbeleivable!

Mancini is their weakest link. He's like Hughes. Doesn't know how to play with his toys properly. My concern is that if he is sakced mid-seasona nd then someone with ability replaces him they'll actually become very strong in the latter half of the year.

TBH abu darbi chose the wrong club to invest in...It is much easier to invest in a club which already has a good spine to it. Investing in man city is like throwing money into the sea LOL
