I dont disagree. It should be at every game in the last 16 but they said they are only using it at premiership grounds. Didnt they use var when we played them in the fa cup last year at their ground?
Yeah same round too. The premier league only rule is just stupid though because Wolves, Cardiff and Fulham were outside the PL for years and Swansea were in it for 7. It should just be at every ground that can since the FA cup isn't between teams from the same division anyway

This game shows exactly why VAR has been needed for a long time. Is it perfect? No, as seen with Suarez pen the other day but at least they will now get far more decisions right than wrong.

The only way to make VAR fair for everyone in the FA Cup is to simply not use it at all. Harsh I agree but unless a portable version is produced the non premiership sides will lose out every time in a questionable decision.

Don't care about the result as i don't give a toss about either team but why wasn't VAR in action in this game?

With the game honours and the money that is at stake these days hingeing on a dodgy ref decision or simulation by players it should at the very least be Premier League and Championship - even League One. The game is pretty much professional at that level.

I understand it will not be possible for the earlier stages of the competition because of the number of games but during the latter stages of the competition (such as today) all games should have VAR. Completely ridiculous that not all games today have VAR and only a selection of them though. Now THAT is not fair.

I don't see why it can't be at any stadium at this stage. The TV companies get themselves sorted for it pretty easily, it's been a month since the draw to prepare a system

If VAR was in all stadiums - teams like ManC/Utd would never progress. Can't have that now can we ? Can't have lower league sides defeating the elite vide technology. It just wouldn't be right would it?

ThiS maKEs SEnSE

@martynziegler: Re Aguero offside winner, the FA took decision not to have VAR at Swansea despite the stadium being equipped for it. The argument was wanted to remain consistent that only PL stadiums would have VAR.

Having it only at PL stadiums makes no sense whatsoever. That's already inconsistent, so any further inconsistency is meaningless. Pathetic logic.

Moutinho cost wolves £5 million in the summer. Why can’t we seem to do these type of deals any more?

Apparently he signed a contract with us the summer we wanted him but it was too late and we missed the deadline

Yeah i remember the last day of that window. There was rumours of him being on a plane and that’s why we didn’t sign him in time or something. Seems the story has resurfaced. At the time I didn’t really want him to be fair. It’s just now our midfield could have done with a player like him.

A selection of itk on him from 2012

They'd still progress. Just have to look at the Man U VAR penalty decision in cl v PSG. You'll never stop bent shit like that while there are huge mountains of money involved. Makes me laugh that the dopey bastards have an even number of people looking at it to make a decision!!! How the fuck is that supposed to work?

These Utd shirts look like something you’d pick up at a flea market.
