Blackburn's keeper was 100% off the line for at least 1 of Newcastle's as well but no VAR because not a Premier League stadium.

I don't understand why they even need VAR for it, isn't that the linesman's exact and only job during a shootout? It's not that hard to spot!

Who was the ref/linesman? I'm wondering if those who usually officiate in PL games have become accustomed to not bothering to check for certain things because VAR usually looks at it for them?

Potential for quite a fixture pile-up towards the end of the season, depending how results go tonight and in the quarters.

If Chelsea win tonight, then their trip to the Emirates on March 16th will need to move. City's trip to Brighton that weekend is already postponed.

Potential for both Spurs v City and Wolves v Arsenal to be moved too if City & Wolves make it to the semis.

All these matches have been (or will be) selected for live TV coverage in the UK, so can't be rescheduled for CL or EL nights.

Add that to our trip to Stamford Bridge (still without a date in the calendar), and it's quite a lot of midweek, non-European slots to find.

I should be annoyed at Wolves for doing us twice this season but there are a few things about them that I really quite like. Fun players, a good manager proving himself, and not a bad team to watch usually.

Hurts us being out so early on and seeing a lot of PL teams having had far easier draws. Would’ve liked to have at least made the QF’s this year.

Call me a romantic but I think the FA Cup is almost the trophy I want us to win most at the moment / next. I know it’s not valued anywhere near the same as it was but it’s still woven deeply into our great clubs history and I’d dearly love to see us win it again soon or even just bloomin make a final again for the first time in 30 odd years.

That Archie Gray is some player for a 17 year old.
Chelsea are a mess- Leeds look like the PL team, and Poch looks a hapless figure these days.

I saw us win it 3 times before I was 21.

if you had told me when Mabbs went up to lift the cup on that glorious day in May 1991 that we wouldn't even be in another final for the next 33 years, I would have laughed at you.

In the last couple of years I'd swap an FA Cup for top 4 ever day of the week.......Carabao Cup too.
