Another tricky one, but I think Webb might've got that one right. Goes in with both feet, studs off the ground. Yellow might've been enough but I won't complain about that being a red.

No debate about that really.

I also agree with Sir Bill of Oddie about the penalty. Agger kicked him. That was a penalty. Berbatov did dive to make sure but it was still a penalty.

I'd say Webb got them both right. But then if you remember Cattermole's assault on Modric, I know he touched the ball, and other decisions he's made.

Watching Kenny immediately jump up at the Gerrard sending off and then watch the screen I couldn't help but remember it's twenty years since the old chap was last in a dugout and imagined him thinking:

"Referee!! What the fuck are you thinki... oh, look a telly. Oh, that's right nice. And will you look at that, I'm on it. Sammy! Sammy! Can you get us a mug of tea, mate, Corries coming on in a bit"

That should not have been a penalty in the first minute - minimal contact that wouldn't have knocked over a three year old. Saying that my first impression was 'Penalty' so I can't really knock Webb.

The sending off was fair enough. It's a shame though as I was really looking forward to this game.

Bit strange, despite him being poor. The FA Cup is all they have to play for and they take off their most likely goalscorer when they need a goal to stay in it.

I see contact at 0.13. 0.14 is the dive - ie after he realises he's been (weakly) caught. :)

For the sake of clarity, I see a slight clip while Berba's foot is in the air. This pushes his left foot against his right calf, which because the Bulgar is running would have put him off his stride. Enough to put him on his arse? No. But why is a clumsy defender excused catching an attacker's leg either? Poor defending and I can see why it was punished. Especially with that git Webb reffing.

Did Man U play the Russian national anthem on the speakers after the final whistle?

I swear I heard it. Very weird.

Gerard red was fully deserved.

Berbs dived. Contact was so slight he had to dive to make the contact look worse.
