What a week it's been. From the low-point of the season last sunday, to victories over Arsenal and Chelsea within 4 days. But, would you turn things the other way around if you could? Swap the 6 points for the FA cup final, meaning we would be 4 points behind City atm?

The 6 points and 4th place every time. We're on the brink of history here, Spurs in the CL. We've won the FA cup before.

Absolutely wins over Arsenal and Chelsea every time!

I love, love, love the FA Cup but at some point we have to strive for more. CL could mean the difference between us getting our main summer transfer target(s) or not.

If (big IF) we do get that 4th place we simply have to capitalise on it completely. We have to drive ourselves forward to ensure we can consistently get FA Cup semis/finals and get ourselves into the top 4 year after year. Prove this is not a fluke!

We have the quality in the squad to do it, with one or two additions we can make that next step I hope.

COYS! Exciting times ahead!

The wins for me. It'd had been special to reach the FA Cup final, but 4th is what the club needs more, asnd if these two wins can get us 4th then I'd take them over a cup final everyday of the week.

Plus I bloody well loving beating both sets of scum.

If I had to choose between reversing the result of either the Sunderland away match or the Pompey semi final I would choose Sunderland without blinking.

An extra 3 points in the league right now would please me alot more than a second trip to Wembley as fourth place would please me more than lifting the cup right now.

Still alot of work to do, next weeks results could be pivotal if we lose and Man City win it's advantage City and other set of results and it will be very much in the balance.

Our game at Eastlands is likely to be the biggest game since West Ham away 2006.

This season the wins..as we need the points.

However if we were 12th with nothing to play for in the league then i would take the Cup Final

Didn't we do this poll on Thursday, with just the Arsenal game? I was happy with just the one, let alone both!

As a poster said above, we have won many FA Cups, yet we are one of the most financially well off clubs never to feature in the Champions League. This season we would be making history if we achieve it... Isn't that what Bill Nic would have wanted?

Any one of 92 teams could theoretically reach the cup final as Portsmouth have proved but only the best (or luckiest ) teams in the league after a long hard season get CL places.

The two wins for me any day, you just can't beat the feeling of elation after beating those two and in the same week.

I really don't know -

i loved being at the lane yesterday - but i so wanted to beat pompey

i can only decide when the season is over - if we get 4th then the lge wins, as we might easily have lost to chelsea anyway - tho not on yesterday's showing :)

if we don't get 4th then i'd rather have the Cup final because i'm sick of us losing FA Cup semi-finals

and i must say i felt considerably more elation at us winning the cup in 81 than i do having won these last two games

but whatever - i'm certainly massively glad that having lost the semi-final we've responded so brilliantly

If I was asked this question a week or so ago I would have preferred to get to an FA Cup Final again. However after the last two games, there is no way I would give that feeling up. The wins against Le Arse and Chelski all the way. Although to beat Chelski in an FA Cup final again would be special.

We've alread beaten the tossers in an FAC & LC final. Damaging their chances of a PL title was much more fun.

The F.A cup has been won by 42 different teams since its conception whereas only 6 teams have broken into the Champions League.
If we are to continually grow and someday win the League we need Champions League football ASAP in order to finance a squad capable of doing that.

Whatever happens come the end of season, this has been an excellent year and C.L. footie would definitely be the icing on the cake.

Derby wins. Wicked to beat both scum, but more importantly, the 6 points keeps us on the road to the Promise Land. CL
