genuine question, not meant to rile but as someone who has moaned long & hard about the fella & his lack of tactical know how...

when WILL he be culpable for whats happening in your opinion?...i posted the bit below in another thread but the point stands...

genuinly want to know when the pro-redknapp peeps would feel it justified that he was removed?

if i had performed as badly at my job as he has in the last few months then i wouldnt have a job anymore...

a) amass 14pts from 13 games
b) get smashed 2-5 against their rivals
c) lose a 10pt lead against said rivals & turn that into an 5pt deficit, soon to be 8!
d) get smashed 1-5 in front of millions in an fa cup semi final to their rivals
e) keeps playing a formation that he himself says is "too open" after EVERY SINGLE DEFEAT!
f) fails to learn from said defeats & play a formation that actually proves to work, ie) 433
g) constantly talks about the club as if he doesnt work for it
h) constantly undermines our history
i) always does g & h on the eve of a big game

what does this guy have to do to take the blame he deserves?...what is his job role if he isnt culpable for ALL of the above then??

is he responsible for making cups of tea or something???

We are 4th.
reached Semi final of FA Cup.

name me another manager(of spurs) in the past 20 years who has achieved what Redknapp has achieved?

No wonder other fans laugh at Spurs fans when they behave like this.

We are 4th on goal diff (were 3rd by 10 points)
We got beat by our rivals 5-1 in the semi final

We're not going to get 4th mate. I don't hate Harry by a long shot and he's done superb up until the last few months.

There are already enough threads on here that have been created to bash Harry to be honest, don't need another.

I think a Managerial Job should be judged on a season not a "bad spell". True he's made a lot of mistakes but he could make up for it and get us 4th spot.

I agree with OP.

Harry has reached his ceiling.

Which has been falsely high IMo.

Our team has done well IN SPITE OF Harry, not because of him.
Any Manager would get 4th or 5th with this squad of players. man for man we had better players than Chelsea, the ref was a C*nt, apart from that Roberto Di Matteo showed more tactical nous, drive and knowledge than Harry, I mean come on, DI MATTEO!!!

in spite of our manager? yes of course, because Harry didn't get the likes of Bale, Benny, Modric, Lennon all playing wonderfully?

Tactical master Juande Ramos did wonders with the group of players that finished 4th the season after they gained 2 points from 8 games under him.

He has achieved far more in the past few seasons than any Spurs manager in the past 20 years. This year we have been playing some of the best football I have ever seen from a spurs side. Under Redknapp we play the Tottenham way and until very recently I have actually had the belief that we would beat any team that comes up against us. I have NEVER felt like that before as a Spurs fan.

There we go. Now, in turn, can you tell me exactly what Redknapp would have to do for you to be happy with him? A premier league title? Win the Champions League? Don't get me wrong here, I understand the anguish that we are all feeling right now, and I understand that people always need to have someone to blame, but we need to have a little perspective. We don't need to sack Harry and we shouldn't. We don't need to kick out BAE for lack of concentration when for years people have been screaming about how under-rated he is. We don't need to send the 'terrible' Adebayor back where he came from, especially since he has turned a once impotent spurs attacking line into something with purpose and shape. We don't need to burn Ledley at the stake because he has lost his pace and looked a little vulnerable for the first time his his long and hugely successful spurs career. This is all just getting a little bit ridiculous now. Lets move on and enjoy watching our team play and win on Saturday.

That is just demonstrably false.

I think Harry lacks the qualities of a top level coach/manager, I've said this for a while now, but we aren't where we are now in spite of him, he has had his share of great games where he has got us doing all the right things well and that reflects entirely on Harry. Games like Milan in the San Siro, Liverpool at home, even recently I thought the Swansea home game Redknapp's tactics were absolutely spot on and showed, quite clearly, that he had studied the opposition and sent his players out with the correct strategy to beat them.

He has, of course, had his share of blunders - some I'm at a loss to explain like the Norwich debacle last week and I can only attribute that to his unwillingness to depart from his comfort zone of 30 years previous in management. Ultimately he hasn't shown consistently the qualities required of a top level coach and tactician, we've seen the odd glimpse but title winners do these things as matter of course - and I do firmly believe that's what this squad should be in the business of, fighting for titles.
