Na I didn't to be honest but I do get why. I would of been on the pitch as well if I could.

I was on the pitch. If only a few hundred went on i probably wouldn't have, but they can't stop 20,000 people :D.

Had some random Japanese tourist wanting a photo with me on the pitch . Maybe he felt sorry for me as I was on my own? (my Dad didn't fancy the pitch invasion).

Giggs and Owen in the studio commented on this. They were laughing and said it was good to see the fans doing knee slides by the corner flags and the Klinnsman dives!

I held it together until I saw Edgar Davids walk out. It increased when Ledley stepped out :cry:

I genuinely didn't think it would get to me, but it did. Amazing scenes seeing fellow fans on the pitch before it's gone forever. My love for this club went up a notch or ten.

Shame Greaves couldn't of been there. Im too young to of ever seen him play so I can only imagine how good he must of been to score that number of goals.

Anyone else get a souvenir? My brother got two seats. I wasn't going to bother as we don't have st or sit in Paxton usually but I'm glad he bothered! Saw a bloke get the ketchup and condiment tray
In hysterics after everyone started singing "He's got the sauce"

GareTh bale getting absolutely roasted on twitter for not even the slightest mention to us/the club today! All justified in my opinion too, helped make him what he is, and nothing! Poor form!

Fitting tribute to our club that our current crop managed to pull off a win against the club we played in our first league fixture.
That was our first home game in Division One (September 1909). Our first home League game was against Wolves in Division Two a year earlier.

Yes, he tweeted about Madrid winning, that's what sent everyone over the edge I think? Apparently he was offered back and declined? Even though he's injured?

People need to move the fuck on. He doesn't play for us anymore. I couldn't give a toss what he does or doesn't tweet.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume it's Real Madrid imposing some sort of embargo.

On a related note, it was nice to see Carr and Berbatov getting warm welcomes. Berba pissed me off with the way he left, but he won me back by playing in Ledley's testimonial.

Anything from Modders?

Modric averages about 2 tweets a year so you can forgive him but Bale tweeted 2 hours ago about RM and nothing about Spurs.

He praises the fans that have smashed up his car and booed him multiple times but doesn't even pay a 1 sentence tribute to the fans that worshipped him for years. He was in the tribute video multiple times, he owed us at least something.

Nope, but he's not as active on twitter as bale, he hasn't tweeted since January!

Trust me Gareth's twitter is not even run by him, it's all by his PR agencies who like the protect brand bale. Anything he posts on any of his social media I think other than instagram is vetted.

Although there is a rumour doing the rounds that Gareth will be back in England next year and not to far away from the lane

I love bale but when he first moved to Madrid, with his silly haircut, man bag and the rest of it. I thought this lad is gone now. He's one of the big billy bollocks. He needs to make sure he doesn't leave us and Southampton in the past.
