They are guessing on the squad. Dont know why they put Gomes in when he isnt part of the squad
At 6 pm tonight Gomes was with his wife and 2 boys having dinner in Yo Sushi at Westfield. Looking thoroughly miserable as well. Which is odd as the Evening Standard said he was off to Leeds on loan today.

Bofbro seems to have it. Thought that we re-register our squad in Feb anyway to account for the January transfer window?

I recon in the link I posted they updated the the new players we listed without taking the ones out we have taken out of squad, please just ignore it.

the list you posted is a list of our players in all of our squads and stats in different competitions.

Gomes has always been on that list, and we know he couldn't play because AVB has said this in an interview.
No idea why they dont take players like Holtby or Dawkins off the lists

Was even in lyon when it kicked off. Went to the pub that was atacked but the owner said it was full so try next door until it calmed down.
Went to the bar on the corner and ordered a few drinks. Came out to have a cigartette and there were police and glass everywhere. It wasn't till the next day that we found out it was french nf. Just thought a few of our boys had had one too many.

So, what you're saying is that wherever you go there is trouble and it's ALL just co-incidental? Really! Just don't go to the Ukraine then, .... oh wait, you were there last week on a scouting mission weren't you?

Just kidding! :ROFLMAO:

Midfield, usually plays as the most attacking midfielder in a 3. Terrific all round player, physically and technically, but still only 17 iirc.

Still only 16, actually.

I can't imagine that he'll get a game but, if he did, he'd surely be the youngest player to have played for the first team since John Bostock (just hope that, if that's the case, his career doesn't follow the same path as Bostock's!).

Regarding 'injuries'
They probably have got 'niggles'. They probably have them every week.
Thing is you don't mind patching them up for a game that you're prioritising, but taking them thousands of miles even with a small injury isn't a great idea, especially when the value of the game is significantly less that the league match coming.

Plus we're forever off the boil after a Thursday match.
Lloris, Ade, Walker, Dembele, Kaboul & Lennon could all start Sunday and hey presto our team is mostly fresh.

Plus they've had a chance to get over their 'niggles' :)

Haven't come across that guy's name before at all

There's been a bit of talk about him in the youth teams thread. Playing very well for the U18's this season.

Also, if you watched any of the Victory Shield games last season, you might have seen him being one of the best players for England.

What I immediately noticed about him - because it's rare in young English players - is how well he reads the game in the attacking third. Good at spotting and executing the slide rule, defence splitting pass. Also seems to know instinctively what runs to make and when. Not to mention that he has a fair bit of skill on the ball.

pretty sure I saw him in a training match last season...looked very skillful and aware and caught the eye but no one could tell me who it was at the game. One that got in under the radar.
