The headline makes it appear that Fazio is personally negotiating his transfer fee. That's be a bew direction for the club. On a serious note I think he's surpluss to requirements.

Fazio Is worth more than 5M. I think his a decent defender and given a run in the team we'd get more clean sheets.

one of the worst signings I've seen us buy at the lane. Completely hopeless defender and I would be utterly amazed if another pl club went in for him. He's slower than Corluka. Never thought I'd ever see that sentence about a pro footballer

If Lamela and Fazio leave this transfer window I would love to hear the defence for the previous two seasons' transfer business.

Honestly a child could have made better purchases.

Harsh! Not our best defender, agreed but much more solid towards the end of the year with Jan

you don't have to be quick to be a defender it is all about anticipation, Fazio hasn't looked awful and with little protection from midfield none of our defence have looked great for a while

Initially I thought he looked poor given his past performances in Europe. However he did improve the more games he played and started to look solid. However his lack of pace was always a problem in the Premiership. He could form a good relationship with Lescott at WBA....maybe use him in part exchange for the striker we seemed to have chased all summer!

I can only assume you have only been watching us play for the last 12 months...

I really don't think he will ever be suited for the prem and for his height I thought he was poor in the air too.

You've either not been a supporter for long, or have a short memory. Fazio is far from the worst signing, or worst defender we have ever signed. I'd say Tramezzani was up there, along with Gilberto.

Imo, Fazio does bring some value to the team and doesn't deserve the harsh criticism he has got in this thread.
A good organiser, vocal and seems to be a good reader of the game.
Still think if he was playin on saturday, you would not have seen so many free headers by diouf in our box, dare say it he would have cut out the final goal...

I also rather liked Corluka; did great playing with Walker overlapping.

Would not sell Fazio. Still rate him higher than any of our current central defenders. Far too good for west brom.
Mind I'm not convinced about Berahino.

I've probably been a supporter of Spurs longer than you. And my memory is pretty good.

Fazio is a cart horse. Another Baldini back hander.

Tramezzani was poor. But not this level poor. Or at least it wasn't so glaring. Gilberto was awful for us. But he did succeed elsewhere.

I thought Corluka was shit as well. Ran like an arthritic donkey. He had a brain no doubt. But he was also weak in the tackle. Hated him playing for us.

I like Kyle. Hope the new lad is an upgrade. But I still think Kyle will be something very special for us and England.

I'm old enough to remember John Lacy and Fazio reminds me of him, and not in a good way!. Havind said that you don't become an international footballer for nothing so maybe he has not had enough time yet. Lamela has had over 2 seasons now and I have seen enough to know that he is not going to make it in the PL.

Gregor Rasiak is always one that sticks in the mind as a real wtf signing...Whatever happened to Rodrigo Defendi?
