Agree but we can't depend on one player to be a bit of a bastard, it has to be a collective effort.
Hopefully with the belief that Poch is trying to install that will happen.

Absolutley a collective effort one and all from the top to the team will make this club succesful again imo.

By no means a bad signing and I feel the bit out clause means we got value for money. Clearly a good addition for the x1 or the squad. My only hesitation and i would like to be proven wrong. But this feels like plan B, or even D. I know that's life but...it irks me.

Plan A - Moreno - Mexican cb, got injured so we had to nove on
Plam B - MM - 3rd party issues, so we had to move on
Plan C - Fazio - we forced sale using the termination/buy out clause

So Plan C. Doesn't mean we will not revisit Plan A or B but timewise Plan C was the one to do now !

Even better in slow motion.

When pushed in the face, the modern footballer falls down and rolls around clutching his head. In the olden days, Dave Mackay would punch you in the ribs, if you tried to push his face. Welcome back the olden days.

I think I remember @JJetset saying that we weren't actually in for H.Moreno.

In the vid the bald headed guy seems to be looking up the pitch, but his reaction is perfect for whats going on.

I think there's much more to someone's physical presence than just their size. We've all been sat in pubs when a big bloke walks in and we haven't bat an eyelid, and we've all been sat in pubs when A big bloke has walked in and we've uttered the words 'Wouldn't want f**k with him" (or something similar). Manner, expression, aura, atmosphere about the person.

In the dressing room, on the pitch, and by reputation in Spain - Fazio seems to be that bloke.

Can't wait for him to be introduced on the pitch to Jack Wheelchair.

I hope so, It's definitely an aura we are missing.

Got to admit I'm not overly excited. I take it in the first instance to replace Kaboul?

What I really, really want is a permanent CH pairing if possible. I understand that's more difficult these days, but would he be first choice with Verts? Kaboul, and especially as captain at the moment will not take that. Dier probably will for a while as he must have expected that when coming to Spurs, but YK is an experienced player. Unless of course his 'injury' problems actually are there.

I'm of course assuming that Vertonghen stays of course.
No, Dawson, the player who just left.

Maybe Poch saw the famous picture of Mackay & Bremner and said 'give me a player like this'
