Without meaning to bring you down from the ceiling, surely we've just agreed the buy out fee.
We'd still need to do personal terms and a medical?

It wasn't a buyout per say, more of a contract termination as we've completely side stepped Seville and actually paid the league directly.

As we've effectively paid his own contract termination on his behalf (similar situation Herera) I'm slightly inclined to think we've agreed to his personal terms, I doubt Levy would wire over 10 million Euros otherwise.

I doubt a CB at Sevilla is on wages we can't match. I would be amazed if this falls through. Although I'd be far more excited at some transfer news regarding Schnerderlin or another forward.

If this reporter calls this a saga I wonder what would happen if he was informed about Leandro!

Not that I'm saying we won't sign him, but it's not all about money.
Didn't we offer Villa more last summer?

Hoping this guy can become our Hyypia. Could potentially have a great partnership with Verts.

The Tottenham way...

I for one am glad that one manager over the last 15 years has realised it might help if our defence was strengthened, first things first.

Is Fazio a 'hard man' type player or more of a 'gentle giant' type? We've had a lot of passive types in our defence (and team) over the years, would be good to have some 'steel' and a bit of toughness to call on for once (red cards and too many yellows permitting of course).

He gut punched Diego Costa pretty hard last season during a game, if that helps give an indication ;)

I know what you mean. I just have visions of Ade doing his knee on 2nd Sept and I don't think we have enough without him.

La LFP me dio el OK a la operación de Fazio hace una hora. Se lo pueden preguntar a M. Gurruchaga, responsable de las fichas de la LFP :)

No idea what the Tweet means still. Fucking useless Google.

Here we go:

The LFP - via M. Gurruchaga, head of transfers - informed @RarrochaR an hour ago that Fazio's contract has been bought out by Spurs.
