I haven't seen him, so can't comment, but I remember most of us were against the signing of Curtis Davies, who has something equally dislikeable about him (that dance after he scored against us:evil, but he has turned out to be a very decent defender. I can't see West Ham selling him, but I think we should remain open minded.

Joey, with due respect I have seen enough of him to know that he is not what we want. Even before this "rumour" I have always thought that he is where is because of his brother, because he is very average and wont bring anything new to table. I would rather we keep who we have than waste money on him.

There is absolutely no logic to this whatsoever.

If Ramos thinks he needs to bring in another CB he will almost certainly favour somebody he knows from La Liga, while if Levy and Comolli are continuing with the 'English players a priority' policy then we'll almost certainly convince Ramos to hold onto Dawson rather than shell out £6m on a crap player with a questionable attitude.
