If you come in by car via the Hale Gyratory, be aware that there are major alterations to the layout in progress, which means that it's currently Cone City and liable to give drivers a WTF? moment or two if they come upon it unsuspecting. The High Road is now two-way between the High Cross and Seven Sisters, and bits of Broad Lane and Monument Way are closed off at the High Road. Delays shouldn't be too bad, but I'd start a bit earlier, just in case.

If you come in from the noth or west you should be fine.

It is mental right now, when i saw the roadworks and remembered what a pain it is to park within 3 miles of the ground, i decided me and my old man are driving to Chingford, train into Hackney then back out to WHL. Been a few years since i last used the station - i assume it's still like a wartime evacuation getting onto the platform heading back into London?

Unless anyone can convince me it'd be worth the petrol, it's the easiest option i can think of. Actually, you can't still park in Tesco's near the north circular, can you?

You still can, although there are signs saying parking is limited to 90 minutes. What happens if you decide to ignore this I don't know (same goes for IKEA).

Went twice last season (EL matches) and parked in Tesco for the duration, saw many others doing the same. We had no issues, no tickets, no clamping.

Hmmm, just had an interesting conversation with an employee of North Mid Hospital... perhaps my plans to drive aren't scuppered afterall :ninja:

I thought it would be OK but didn't want to say it was for sure just in case I received a barrage of posts and PMs saying "You got me clamped, you ****!" :)

Yeah, I was dreading it on the walk back but both times I was pleasantly relieved :)
