5th :-(

Just can't see 4th happening unless City fcuk up bigstylee

Tevez is out injured for a month he's back after we play them. city are half the team without him.

4th or 3rd for me. If we beat the scum they might do what they did last year and have a very lean patch.

That's a big "if".

The result today Arsenal v Liverpool

Now Liverpool 4 points behind (2 games in hand)
Arsenal 10 points ahead (1 game in hand)

This result surely helps our cause for both not being caught by Liverpool and catching Arsenal

If (always a big if- rather have points on the board) we win our games in hand it would be:

Liverpool 10 points behind
Arsenal 7 points ahead

If we beat the individual clubs it could be reduced (and added to) even more!

gone for fourth. Think man city are a head of themselves and think they've already got there, the players that is. If we overtake them, they won't catch us back up.

4th for me. One focus, the players seem up for it, and our key clashes (vs scum Wednesday, vs City) are becoming more stacked in our favour as time goes on. Tevez is a big loss for City and I think they'll struggle to score without him. The point about De Jong being on 9 yellows is an interesting one too.

Agree with all of that. Weds game is massive, can't wait for it!! It's so looking like it's going to come down to the city game again, could history repeat itself?

Last year I said 5th and we finished 4th. Being the superstitious soul that I am, I have voted for 5th again

The Goons next match after us is United, ain't it:shrug:
Yesterdays result, the fact that it pretty much puts them out of the title race (which, therefore, isn't a race any more:grin:), and the manner of it, have, hopefully, combined to totally demoralise them. It must have been pretty draining. Let's hope so.
If we beat them and then United do, too, 3rd place could be back on:grin:

I can see us winning all our home games, chelsea, city and pool away are key,if we get at least 4points from those away 3 and we will get 4th.
