How the fuck are we playing Monday night and Friday night in the same week, I’ve never seen that before??So in three October games we've been moved to 12:30 on a Saturday, 8:00 on a Monday and 8:00 on a Friday. These are not times that will be given to teams in European competition so basically that's us for this season, we'll be playing our matches against the lower half of last year's table at the extreme end of weekends all year.
I suppose, luckily, it’s only a short trip south of the river to Selhurst Park on the Friday, but still, agree with you here: bit of a pain. I’m going to have to take both Monday and Tuesday off making the trip up from Devon. How the fuck are we playing Monday night and Friday night in the same week, I’ve never seen that before??
I hadn't realised that they were in the same week. How the fuck are we playing Monday night and Friday night in the same week, I’ve never seen that before??
Always a good thing, especially as a few in the media are raising an eyebrow now we are playing more expansive football (I know everyone is on Amazon’s round of fixtures: but Sky and TNT are probably thinking this could be rather entertaining).Of our first 10 PL games 8 are on TV,( Brentford already played) . They can't keep picking us or can they , in November we have Chelsea at home normally a TV game then December we have Man C away and Newcastle at home , again possible picks for TV.
Amazon TV games already in the schedules , Hammers home Tues 5th Dec and Brighton on Boxing Day.
More TV games, more money for the club or some might say ENICAlways a good thing, especially as a few in the media are raising an eyebrow now we are playing more expansive football (I know everyone is on Amazon’s round of fixtures: but Sky and TNT are probably thinking this could be rather entertaining).
Seems like it. A checked all the October dates and booked a week away around the Fulham game. Game on the Saturday and fly on the Sunday. Those slots don't normally work for the big teams in Europe, so they're filled up with mid-table and relegation clashes. As probably one of the best supported of the mid-table sides it makes sense that we're going to be picked a lot for them. How the fuck are we playing Monday night and Friday night in the same week, I’ve never seen that before??
