The fixture changes for the home matches following our Europa League games have been announced. Obviously all on Sundays but for some reason kicking off at 1.30pm (except Southampton which kicks off at 2.05pm). Presumably we have to wait for Swansea to confirm the date and time of the away match following our trip to Besiktas. Our match v Everton which follows the home game v Partizan Belgrade had already been moved for TV.

We announced yesterday that our home match against West Brom has been moved to Sunday, September 21, kick-off 1.30pm and our home fixtures against Southampton, Newcastle and Stoke will also now move to Sunday.

The new dates are as follows:

Southampton (H) now Sunday, October 5, kick-off 2.05pm

Newcastle United (H) now Sunday, October 26, kick-off 1.30pm

Stoke City (H) now Sunday, November 9, kick-off 1.30pm

I'm coming over for the Southampton game, and now I can go to any 3pm Saturday game of my choosing as well. Love it!

Weird the fixture changes are all home games!!
If someone at our club had brains, they'd think to request that our home/away ordering be so that our away games will mostly fall on the rounds following a Europa week (which are all pre-determined) so that we can have more home games on a Saturday.

Surely we'd rather play at home those weeks rather than get home in the early hours of Friday morning then have to travel up to say Sunderland for a Sunday fixture?

Mr Fergooson doesn't work for us. I'm talking about facts.

Londoners who cannot make Sunday matches are punished by not being able to attend home games. Almost all our bloody Saturday games are away.
And why do you make it sound like we will only be playing Europa away?

Bit harsh on Newcastle, again.
Holy crap, very true. Not living in UK, I'd never considered that before. Seems very harsh indeed. I'm sure it's not the only example of harsh distances for fans. (I'm thinking Southampton-Newcastle as one of them.) I wonder if Newcastle will get revenge by us having to do the opposing trip in time for the same kick off or earlier? I notice that last season, when they had to get to us for 12pm, they had the last laugh when we were under serious pressure having until 7.45pm to get to them for the reverse fixture later in the season!

Sure, but that would only look after a small selection of fans who attend the Europa away matches and to be honest, taking pity on those fans (of which I'm guessing you're one of) because they only have 40 odd hours to get to an away match on a Sunday, would be very very generous and I'm convinced the club does not have you in mind in regards to that! Londoners who struggle to make Sunday matches are already punished enough as it is, they should at least be given every chance to make a Sunday match by having it at home and not away.
And why do you make it sound like we will only be playing Europa away?

...what on Earth are you even saying?

We are playing at home on Sundays after Europa League.

Not really, we won 4-0. I bet they didn't find that very funny.
