Agree with Ferdinand that concentration is key. Such an obvious thing to say but it’s 100% right. If our players are on it, we’ll be ok.

i love Foyth but my take on him is that in past seasons, he underestimated the speed and quickness of those he was up against. Hence, he was forced to go to ground or was caught napping on the ball more than he should. with that said, if he learned that lesson, he would be in interesting piece in the puzzle as i think RB is as big as a priority as we have.

I'm still unsure whether he will be a CB or RB to be honest, obviously he would fill a big hole if he takes on RB but feel like he doesn't necessarily fit the traditional mould of one which may be a problem. He does fit the traditional CB mould of being able to play from back but that isn't to say he will suit it more.

That was a strange half, loads of possession, some good performances, 1 up but should be 2-1 down.

Gazzaniga - 2 excellent saves.
Lo Celso - very good with his energy, movement, passing and both initially created and then scored the goal.
Ndombele - started well but dropped off following a couple of heavy challenges.
Sissoko - solid but please don’t shoot like ever.
Foyth - been fine, composed in possession and productive with the ball.
Sanchez - looks confident and is playing well.
Kane and Son - both involved in the goal but both have been guilty of poor touches and decision making.
Dier - has been poor, maybe he’s rusty but picked up a stupid yellow and at fault for both RS chances.
Alli - he’s been woeful, awful movement, passing and decision making.
Rose - another who’s struggling, a couple of rash challenges and as usual, piss poor going forward.

Changes:

Sessegnon for Alli.

I definitely disagree about Dier. Neither of the chances were his fault and the yellow was an atrocious decision. Alli's movement have been really good also, he hasn't gotten the proper service except for his fluffed chance when he cut inside instead of shooting.

Fucking love not having most of the bastards on the pitch. Let's keep it like that until January please

Decent half. Rose still cant pass and Dele off the pace again

Rest look ok
Sums up what I saw. Some good stuff, if not a little bit subdued. Rose, by my count, turned the ball over approx 12 to 15 Times. And switched off defensively a few times. Again, Dele is nowhere near the pace and also gives the ball away with almost gleeful aplomb.

I really like Sissy as the DM. Suits him well. Celso and Ndombele both look positive. Loving Foyth at RB. And intrigued by Dier at CB. Would like to see him commit to that position, as I feel he has a future playing there for us, but not as a DM.

Delighted for Sonny. Just being out there and gettin stuck in, is a huge psychological boost. He’s been very brave.
