Turning a bit ugly for Wrexham and Notts County today.

I really like the Wrexham story, but the hangers on and new plastic fans get on my nerves a bit.

Don't get me wrong I loved the documentary and the story, but the hype all summer has been ridiculous. They needed a reality check and a come down badly.

Nice hair, not a great manager.

I've seen the speeches, very cringeworthy.

Best manager Wycombe have ever had, along with Martin O'Neill. Saved them from relegation to non-League, got them promoted and made them a serious League One side and even got one season in the Championship for the first time in the club's history.

But this move has been a disaster for him.

Interesting watching Harry Winks, at times he links play so well, but then he reverts to the issues he had with us, where he lays the ball off, then goes and stands directly behind an oppo player and basically removes himself from the game as an option to receive a pass… it’s bizarre.

It’s just always been such a strange thing for a top level pro to do. He literally marks himself and stands there pointing and “pass it there, pass it there” whilst essentially marking himself out of the game
