Where in centralish London is real good to watch footy (for Saturday specifically)? I will be with out of towners so will be in town all day and will watch game up there. Anywhere vaguely central really, may be Westish (Ealing) later but not sure.

My safety net in Leicester Square has become a Slug n Lettuce and I want somewhere with good atmoshpere and commentary which rules out most West End boozers and on View London loads seem to be Arsenal boozers and one, Gold Lion in Soho, is tiny. Isn't there a good one in Covent Garden?

Regards.

With being central the main factor, the Sports Pub down Haymarket (I think) Is pretty decent with a good atmosphere. Normally have a range of sports on with the footy always taking the commentary.

If your in Ealing head down the Uxbridge Road to Ashby's. A bit rough but always a good atmosphere in there for the footie
