Why not have a transfer rumours forum for people who don't want to get involved in all the ITK nonsense and just want to sensibly discuss what is mentioned on the tv, in the papers and other forms of the media.

No ITK stuff at all just sensible football discussion about players we have been publically linked with or would like to see at the club.

I've not been in that ITK place for years but it seems more and more people are being excluded for voiceing opinions, so let them talk sensibly elsewhere and let all the ITK lovers stay in that forum, wouldn't that be a sensible option?

For example Spurs were strongly linked again with Lloriente yesterday on La Liga saying that we had offered his buy-out figure so there is likely some legs in that story yet for a lot of people there is nowhere to discuss it as it gets moved to the transfer section where half the site seems to be banned, the point of that is? And there's not even an ITK to be questioned, unless of course nobody is allowed to question Sky Sports?

Sounds like a very good idea for the next window. Despite the valiant efforts of the mods, the ITK discussion thread just becomes a general 'transfer window discussion thread', and as you say, a lot of people just choose not to buy into that stuff, which is more than fair enough.

definately! spurs community should be varied and has done so. The more forum sections the better!

Or a separate section for ITK that you can hide it if you like. Not everyone is into ITK, prefer to deal with facts than pointless speculation myself.

only my opinion but i strongly disagree with this. the more centralised and easier to navigate SC the better. Having more just disperses information around too much and is time consuming to navigate.

also isn't what the OP suggests basically the general football forum? or rather, can't the general football forum be used for this?

if not, then perhaps in the transfer rumours forum, where you sometimes see those icons on the side, there could be various icons for ITK discussion and then another one for general discussion.

There are separate sections.

ITK forum when all the ITK is listed.

Transfer Forum. : Daily ITK Thread for people that want to talk about the ITK, but under those are players thread that can be started when we get linked to them through the media.

I could suggest having a Forum suggestion forum.... but that would never catch on i guess...

In theory, but in reality the ITK thread just becomes deadline day/general transfer discussion thread.

I mean take SC ITK and the transfer rumours sections out of the sports subheading and give it one of its own. That way it could be closed and the site would look the same.

Because they are in the same section and it would appear that a fair percentage of people are banned from that area.

LOL I wanted to talk about Lloriente yesterday after La Liga and went to go in there and found out I was banned from an area that I never even go in and generally have no interest in going in because I personally believe that all the ITK is simply made up nonsense.

Just have a seperate area for transfer discussion minus supposed ITK, what's wrong with that? If not then stop closing all the player threads that appear in Spurs chat?

To be honest it does look like a somewhat sad power trip for some people.
