Campbell is not, and probably never will be, remotely good enough. Would much prefer to have seen Dos Santos or Taarabt on for him after 75mins and 4-1.

Don't think we'll see too much of Campbell while Defoe is fit.

Thank fuck for that. Why on earth did Utd turn down a £7 mill bid?

I think Utd will be chasing Hull up sometime soon trying to sell him.

Seriously though, why did Utd not sell him for such a good price. They have an abundance of strikers and other youngsters like that Wellbeck coming through, they are going to have to sell them sooner or later. Just glad we haven't signed him on a permanent transfer!

Come on, how many competitive games has he played for us? How old is he? So he had an off-night tonight...

He's had more than one of them…

But yes, you're right, he's young. But he's not our player and he's not good enough, so thank god we've got another option now

Yeah spot on!
Give the boy a chance! He's been given a difficult task, but he's done well for us in other games!
Anyone remember Liverpool in the Cup!!? If i recall, most people were calling for us to buy him straight away after that game! How quickly things change!! lol

Be realistic, the boy is bollox and will never make it here, Utd or any other prem club. He lacks any finesse, skill, and awareness to cut it with the big boys.

I've seen some shitty strikers here over the years and he's up there with the likes Rasiak, Andy Booth, Postiga and Doherty.

I'm not sure if Campbell will make it as a regular starter for a top 10 club, but i'd say at the moment he's a decent 3rd/4th choice striker for us. If United can get 7m from Hull for him they should take it and run.

He's not a bad player by any stretch of the imagination, but with Defoe's arrival I think he'll see his playing time reduced even more.

I do agree to some extent, and if it wasn't for our lack of strikers, i wouldn't have him at Spurs, but he's not that bad!
He's certainly not Andy Booth bad.........i can still hear the chuckles from Sheffield!! :-(

He's still quite raw, and we can put it down to him still learning the Premiership game. But he can hold the ball up at times and has some decent pace!

The problem is, even though Defoe has signed, which puts Frazier back on the bench, but depending on how long Bent is out, we're still gonna see Fraizer playing unfortunately! - Lets hope he gets better quickly!

I think he could be a good player if he could just stay on his feet!!! He falls over too easy even when its just him alone on the ball!!
