There's talk in italy still linking the Capoue deal to Guarin. Napoli hope that we get Guarin, as they believe we will let Capoue leave when we do. I just posted an article in the Capoue thread, pertaining to this.

I really don't get this at all, the last thing we need is another attack minded central midfielder.

Has been transfer listed this afternoon by the Internazionale according to the players official Twitter account.

What does that mean? Well, according to Cartilage Free Captain and the Mirror it means

"Inter, it is you who put me up for sale without me asking. I was feeling calm and good at the club. I want clarity and respect - for me, my agent and the supporters. For the fans, I just want to thank you because you have been affectionate and respectful towards me and appreciated my work. If I have to leave, you will always be in my heart because at Inter I made a dream come true. If I remain, I will use all my power and all my heart to help Inter win"

If he was truly a target then things could get interesting this evening.

Cheers fellas. Odd that it 'may' be back on if the fans were previously protesting against it enough to end the attempt for it to happen?

The fans were pissed off because the deal that was going to go through didn't represent value to the fans. It was going to be Vucinic plus €3 million for Guarin. Since Vucinic is a very hit and miss, 30 year old striker with a 1 in 3 goal ratio, and Guarin is one of Inter's best players coming into his prime, I can understand how the fans would be pissed off. As a Juve fan I was loving it, even if I'm not that bothered about getting Guarin. I just wanted to see Inter get stuffed.

Edit: Inter are still desperate for a striker, so it could still happen. Juve would have to offer more cash though.
