Guarin is not an improvement on anything we've got. Would not be a fan of us seriously looking at him. Has always underwhelmed me whenever i've seen him play - particularly against us in Europe last season

Only logic I would see to this is 2 out, 1 in. He is a good player no doubt about that, but I dont see much truth in this.

Gazetto del Sport or whatever its called in Italy claiming weve made an 8.2mil bid. I call bullshit especially as hes been valued at twice that price.

This signing doesnt make sense anyway.

If that's correct, I think that is simply matching Manchester United's bid.

think he could be off to southampton with osvaldo going the other way.

Could definitely see that happening. Has this been rumored? Makes sense for Soton since they appear fed up with Osvaldo and could use a midfielder like Guarin next to Schneiderlin.

Dont see it myself, from Inter (playing games) to rumours of Juve, Chelsea, Spurs, United, to Southampton? Nah

In all honesty it might depend on if those rumors are even true. If none of these rumors of him going to a side like us, Chelsea and United are even true Southampton might be his best bet to land on a somewhat solid team in the EPL. And, it appears as though Inter won't revisit the idea of selling him to Juve again after the blowback from their fans and the subsequent retraction that occurred.

goody! We of course need more midfielders to help mow the pitch at the end of the match.

Juventus have said they won't be doing ANY business with Inter until they publicly apologise for the whole affair.

Anyone who's watched him for Inter in the last two years would know that he's no better than our current crop of midfielders.

Well, it is their fault. It was their idea to make the deal in the first place as they were desperate for strikers. They should apologise to both Juve and their own fans for the fuck up. Moratti is only the "honorary" president, he shouldn't be trying to broker deals on the side and there should be more communication between him and the rest of the board.

That Thohir makes me laugh though, claiming Inter stands for "honesty and integrity". Firstly, it's an obvious dig to Juve, but secondly the whole of bloody Italy knows how involved Inter were with Calciopoli. Moratti spun the whole thing, the death of Facchetti was key to this, and they escaped punishment setting them up to be the dominant force in Italy. I remember Christian Vieri, who was an Inter player during their involvement in Calciopoli, coming out afterwards and testifying to Inter's involvement yet still nothing was done. I wonder if it was because the guy in charge of the Italian FA's disciplinary commission was an Inter director. No, of course not...

It could be anything. I wouldn't even rule out a trip to visit with family despite it being the heart of the transfer window.

Seriously. He's Italian, of course he's going to travel to Italy! Every time he goes to Italy for some home cooking we get linked to 20 players.
