A remarkable finish by Froch, I take my hat off for him for that, but he was being schooled by Taylor. Taylor only had to hold on for 14 more seconds and he would have won.


Froch is talking about fighting Calzaghe, but Joe would take him to school, he has too much speed, skill and experience for Froch. Froch is far to slow. Kessler would beat him as well.

Taylor did well to stand up so long against that barrage of punches from Froch. The ref was absolutely fight to stop it.

Listened to this last night on 5Live. What a comeback!!!!

I agree with Mullers, Carl was given a real lesson last night - I hope he learns from it and makes a few changes to his 'lazy' style.

Carl got that reserve from somewhere. He never gave up even though he was outpunched and outscored. What a comeback. He went for it and what a great last two rounds for him.

Going over to the USA when Jermain Taylor would not come to the UK. You have to admire the man for all this.

Maybe Harry needs to show this whole fight to our squad. Show them what never giving up can do for you.

Did anyone see the fight? That last two rounds were immense. I thought Froch would lose on points, but he got the TKO with 15 seconds remaining. Always nice to see a stoppage, and nice to see a Brit winning in the US while fighting in front of a very partizan crowd.
Really looking forward to pacman Hatton now. I can only see one winner and that's the pocket rocket from Manilla, but you never know.

I saw it - great fight! It reminded me of the one where Pacquao (sp?) stopped Barrera in the 11th a few years back, or summat like that. The Pacman-Hatton fight will be interesting due to the clash of styles - the speed-merchant vs the bruiser, to put it in simple terms. Can't wait to see the Haye-Klitschko fight as well.

Yeah, I did. The last round was great, I really didn't think he had it in him and was glad when the ref stopped it, which was the right thing to do; Taylor wouldn't have got back up after another punch.

I saw the fight, the last round was stunning. it's such a shame british tv didn't show it!
They won't ignore Froch anymore, I can assure you of that.
