If we don't win these games we don't deserve CL.
Weakened opposition, key players missing. No goals in them.
Whats our excuse this time? Fatigue? same applies to everyone.
Bale is in form. We even have Dembele back to haunt them. Stronger on paper.
Away to Fulham is like next door so no travel time.
Manager takes blame if we don't win the games we should.

Our midfield is not particularly technical so if they press it hard it breaks up our passing and starves our dangerous wide men of the ball. That has been demonstrated to death across the season and even just simply in the Liverpool game. Hopefully they'll be dumb and give us time on the ball. Like West Ham

Agreed. We have to take advantage of the schedule that's being laid out right now. Lots of winnable matches and we need to start collecting points.

Disagree their centre midfield is really unsettled this season whereas the the front 4 look brilliant

I watched their game against Arsenal. They had Sidwell and Baird in their midfield. Neither of them are particularly comfortable on the ball. Baird's a central defender, isn't he?

Iirc he is a CB but I think he plays Rb as well they are suffering alot of injuries and our Mason does leave in Jan to a prem club, fulham could be great for him and Im sure Jol knows all about him

I had no idea they were on such a terrible run. Who's filling in for Hangeland and where do you think Mason might play for them?

I think Fulham have a lot of plodders in their side. Berbatov and Ruiz give them a glossy sheen.

I'd like a middle 3 of Sandro, Dembele and Carroll. Sandro should have shrugged off the kick in his belly and thus be better than on Wednesday. Dembele's stamina should also be better, and him and Carroll should be able to feed our wingers enough to cause havoc in Fulham's defence. If they have to double team against Lennon, and double or even triple team against Bale, their midfielders should tire earlier than ours and will have little time to mount attack against us.

You see, talking is so easy and we should annihilate them.

Not really. Depends what kind of game we play.

I think Everton would be the match to get your knickers in a knot.

It's really amazing when you look at out squad to think that for what, five seasons now, we've had no proper like for like cover for Bale or Lennon. I wouldn't even mind just having Gio and Routledge or something.

I'd say Townsend is now that cover player, certainly for Bale. But I agree we're lacking a Lennon-alike and if he gets injured (which he can!) we will miss that direct pace. Falque's another option I guess.

Take a draw against a club that is missing 3 key players, has 1 win in 9, is 6 points and 6 places below us? Some of you lot are mental

Oh like Wigan you mean.
We will see wont we - I'm expecting the √ of sweet feck all;)

BUT my predictions are notoriously poor

The big problem is most players at that level dont wants understudy football.

Bentley is back. I predict a new scapegoat.

I have infiltracted the Fulham end, I will bring the Spurs fan negativity to their club.

Win this and we're in a very promising position in the league. Lose it, and I'm getting a but worried it'll be a stop start season. These are the type of games you have to win to do stuff.

It's hard for teams like us and to a degree Arsenal in that we're too good (or at least aiming to be too good) to have Falque and Townsend as our wing cover (considering that at the top three you have people like Marin, Moses, Nasri, Young, Nani etc looking to get a game). But at the same time we're not good enough for good players to be willing to sit on our bench and be a squad player, which I get.

In conclusion; Bring back STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!
